He Got The Job Done

I was injured in a car accident. After the run around with the insurance company I decided to hire an attorney. The search led me to The Suggs Law Firm. I was impressed with Mr. Suggs during our initial phone call. He was very genuine and made me feel he had my best interest at heart. Mr. Sug...gs does what he says he's going to do. His integrity is above reproach, and when you call him, you actually speak to him. I was awarded a very fair settlement during mediation process without going to trial. He's an excellent negotiator, compassionate for your needs, and made the difficult legal process tolerable. He will get the job done and works hard to earn you every dollar possible for your suffering. I highly recommend the services of Mr. Suggs.

Great attorney to work with

Best Attorney For Personal Injury I’m very pleased with the services of the Suggs Law Firm. My case was very stressful. From the aches and pains I had in the beginning to dealing with the insurance companies one-on-one. But then, having to go through litigation –again, it was very stressful. And ...it makes you feel like you’re a bad guy, and having somebody on your side proving that you’re not the bad guy, that you’re a victim feels very nice. And that’s exactly what happened. From the beginning of my first appointment with Mr. Suggs, he came across as professional at all times, very down to earth, and very informative at all times. Any questions I had, he explained in full detail, but in layman’s terms. . . . Mr.Suggs prepping me, the meeting beforehand, worked out really well. The preparation for that helped me a lot. I tend to talk very fast. Mr.Suggs helped me with that so that I could come across not scatter-brained, scared and confused and just really focus on the truth. And that was very helpful. I am very pleased with the settlement he got me! Very pleased!!

Eldridge Suggs IV

I was a client of Mr Suggs approximately three and a half years ago. He charged me an up-front flat fee rather than an hourly fee, which was a red flag. (I say a red flag because another attorney I dealt with asked for a retainer fee to create an escrow account, and he charged me an hourly rate and p...aid himself from that escrow account, documenting the hours he spent on the case. When the escrow account funds were exhausted, it was only then that this particular attorney billed me for any additional amount. ) Another attorney said that it's better not to pay a flat fee to an attorney as this can cause the attorney to lose incentive to pursue the case (because he's already received full payment). Additionally, Mr Suggs didn't stay in touch with me to let me know how my case was progressing. I had to initiate every contact. This too was different from my prior experience with attorneys, each of whom sent me regular letters to keep me updated on my case. Also, Mr Suggs was very unresponsive to my contacts. He didn't return any of my calls, and he didn't respond to any emails, faxes, or letters.

Same here

I had the same experience with Suggs. He took money upfront with me. He also took evidence that I provided to him for the case and never returend. He never reported any steps in the case. He avoided my calls, had his secretary screening my calls. I think he is very unprofessional and my dealings w...ere horrific.

Professional misconduct

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2006.

Review Panel Reprimand issued in GA, 2006

updated on 08/10/2012

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case, the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Eldridge’s comment:

“unfortunately, this reprimand was made by the opposing Attorney because I would not back down from defending my client.”
