Jennifer Ruth Liotta

Tanager™ Legal, LLC (The Liotta Firm) was founded to provide high quality, value-driven legal services to enterprises and individuals in the areas of intellectual property, technology, privacy, general corporate, and dispute resolution. The Firm was founded by Jennifer Liotta in 2014. She assists clients in creating and managing intellectual property portfolios, licensing, start-up formation and strategy, privacy matters, general corporate matters, dispute resolution and litigation strategy. In addition, Jennifer’s brings her healthcare background to bear to assist healthcare IT clients, and other clients in healthcare-related matters. Jennifer’s clients have included Fortune 100 technology companies, private equity firms, technology start-ups, retailers, non-profits, and individuals.

Jennifer graduated from Emory University School of Law in 2006, where she completed the TI:GER program, a specialized certificate program in technology commercialization. After graduating, she clerked for the Honorable Judge Leonard Davis in the Eastern District of Texas, focusing the majority of her time on patent litigation and other complex commercial litigation. Jennifer then practiced at a large Atlanta law firm in intellectual property litigation and transactions. Jennifer subsequently joined Georgia Tech Research Corporation in 2013 to manage intellectual property generated at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Jennifer’s role at GTRC included technology assessments, IP portfolio management, training Georgia Tech inventors on start-up formation, and drafting and negotiating licenses and other IP-related agreements.
