Ms. Sykes, although she calls herself the gladiator clearly did not fight for me. During testimonies and meetings with plaintiff she was not very articulate and did not present herself strong or knowledgeable regarding employment law. I had a solid case with lots of evidence — and she lost the case.... She also tried to discourage me from appealing.

Ms. Sykes charged me too much money for both of my cases in my opinion. I learned that other law firm charged way less more money for both of my cases. She also dropped me during discovery phase of my EEOC due to her constantly asking for more money like she did the other lady on the website. I was ...very disappointed in the service from Ms. Sykes because it was very clear to me her only objective was money and to drop a client in the middle of discovery is very unprofessional to me. I now have another law firm whom i am very happy with and has given me a very positive assessment of my both cases. I did not mind paying the money, but there were a lot of things I was very disappointed in that I would not like to discuss. Overall, I would not recommend her to any more of my colleagues.

I hired this lawyer for 3 different cases which are all still unresolved and it has been well over 2 years. I have given her over 5,000$ and she dropped me as a client once I could no longer afford to pay her. So she basically got that money for no work bc there was no outcome on all 3 cases in which... I retained her, put money in escrow, etc.
