Biography
I am privileged to serve as outside general counsel for businesses that typically do not have an inside legal department. My favorite clients are entrepreneurs who are passionate about their businesses. I am pleased to help them grow and maximize the value of those businesses, which are often the owners' primary assets.
The breadth of my business experience before settling on a legal services career has shaped my approach to business advice and client service. I have been a grocery store manager for The Kroger Company, a State and Local Tax Consultant for both Arthur Andersen and KPMG, and have worked as a business and tax attorney for two large and one small law firm. I have even worked as a jewelry salesman and a men's suit salesman (at Macy's). As a result, I have a perspective that is somewhat unique among business attorneys.
I truly enjoy helping new and emerging growth companies realize their true potential.
