Ran Away With My Unused $750 Fee
I would not recommend this lawyer to my enemy. The lawyer decided to keep my unused $750 to just follow me to my I-130 interview. I have already paid for the full cost of my I-130. He then asked for an additional $750 to just represent me at my interview. The interview date took so long to set up...
Every once in a while out of tens of thousands of clients of happy clients over 33 years there is a individual who seeks to blame their lawyer for their own actions and attempts to harm them and spread falsehoods and slander. Such is the case here. Unfortunately we are bound by client confidentiality and cannot comment further.

Rude and Unprofessional!
My wife and I had a 12pm appointment with Mr. Fogle. We arrived 10 minutes early, filled out some paperwork and took a seat in the waiting area. At 12:30pm we reminded the receptionist that we had a 12pm appointment. She assured us that Mr. Fogel would be right with us. At 12:45pm I asked another...
I along with my staff have seen thousands and thousands of clients over 26 years from literally all over the world. We deal with a very diverse range of people from different cultures every day and are highly experienced in accommodating folks and assist them as they navigate through very stressful situations and times while we help them solve their immigration problems. Every once in a while we have clients either with mental issues, that are hotheaded and emotionally unstable, and/or are unable to act in a civil manner and follow normal rules of decorum in a law office with several attorneys, paralegals and support staff. When confronted with such situations, we generally try to ask the person to calm down and to behave in a civil manner. If they are not able to control themselves at that point we politely ask them to leave and if they will not, we call our fine folks at security to escort them out. This has happened only a few times over 26 years and thousands and thousands of clients. Despite these rare occurrences over the past few decades, this is the first time I have never had a person walk into my office and start SHOUTING HYSTERICALLY using words like "you and your staff are disgusting and horrible," so he had to be asked to leave. Mr. Levenson is not a client and did not have a consultation with me and therefore is clearly misrepresenting the fact that he "consulted" with me, as he did not. Thus, in actuality this individual should not be allowed to post on AVVO, which, as I have criticized in the past, allows anyone to say anything they want and put any rating they want about any lawyer without restriction to whether they are a client or not and whether what they say is true. Mr. Levenson did schedule an appointment with me and was waiting in the reception area with his wife. He was fully aware I was meeting with clients who had the appointment immediately before his (and who had arrived late) and I was running behind schedule. Mr. Levenson was informed numerous times about this and that I would be with him as soon as I was done with the clients before him by various members of my staff and even one of the other attorneys with the firm, whose office he barged into uninvited to complain about why he was still waiting. Some appointments take longer than others, and as anyone with common sense experience in the world knows, in any busy professional office, whether doctors or lawyers, folks sometimes have to wait because the doctor or lawyer is seeing the clients or patients who were there before them. I treat all clients as if they are family and I do not kick clients out of my office before I have finished discussing their case with them simply because there is an impatient person outside who does not want to wait their turn to see me. I have a top notch staff who is very mindful of clients having to wait to see me and is very accommodating to them. If this were not so, we would not be one of the most successful boutique immigration firms around with multiple offices and have thousands of happy clients who are constantly referring others to us and will wait to see me, no matter how long. What we do not tolerate in our office are screaming, unhinged, abusive individuals who think they can come into my office and begin SHOUTING HYSTERICALLY that I and my staff are "horrible and disgusting" for any reason, much less merely waiting while the person before them was having their appointment. Mr. Levenson had to be asked multiple times to leave because he would not stop yelling in my office, making a complete fool of himself and embarrassing his wife, who was pleading for him to leave, in front of a number of my office staff and other clients in the reception area. We ultimately called security as he remained, menacingly outside the office in the hallway after I refunded his consult fee. He finally left before they came up to the office. Worst Lawyer possible to hire
I had this attorney Herbert Glenn Fogle represent me in 2011 In both Georgia Court of appeals and also in Immigration court I must state this is the worst attorney I ever dealt with. He is unrofessional and like a dumb. I even reffered several of my freinds to him. He did them even worse took their m...
This review is from a client with a diagnosed mental illness and should not be allowed by Avvo. The biggest problem I have with Avvo is that they will let anybody write anything on their site about a lawyer whether it is true or not. Nonsense such as the above with clear improper grammar and unsubstantiated accusations should be filtered and never be allowed by Avvo. To set the record straight, I did in fact win this client's case and saved him from being deported for serious criminal offenses and enabled him t be released from months of Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention. He later got angry because he did not want to pay attorney fees for a new case and put this nonsensical and false review, which Avvo clearly did not screen.

Glenn Fogle Immigration Attorney
I hired Glenn recently to defend a close friend. He was unresponsive to us, making no effort to contact the person we hired him for. We received a large bill when we transferred our file to another attorney.
It is unfortunate that people can simply write anything they want to say whether true or not on Avvo. This is a case of someone being upset about a legitimate fee for several hours work of work done in case and making an attempt to complain about it on Avvo through blatant misrepresentation. In my 20 years of practice, I have discovered that every once in a while a client will come along that will not be happy with anything you do. This particular case involved an individual who pled guilty to a and was convicted of a very serious Federal crime involving the national security of the United States and was in a Federal Correctional Facility 200 miles away. To actually speak with inmates you have to make an appointment several days ahead--which was done. Prior to that time, several hours were spent reading transcripts, reviewing court documents and researching a very complex Federal Criminal case involving seveal defendants over a conspiracy to export aircraft parts to a very hostile enemy of the U.S. A considerably lengthy convesation was had with the client, where the vast majority of the conversation was the client's desire to communicate his view of how how he was tricked into pleading guilty to the crime and was not actually guilty of anything. As his Immigration Lawyer when I explained to him that none of that was really relavent since but that we needed to focus on the actual Immigration case, which would not start for several months, the client apparently did not like what he heard. Therefore, the statement above "unresponsive . . . making no effort to contact the person we hired him for . . ." Is utterly false. While in the process of making arrangements to personally visit the client, he subsequently told the person who wrote the comment above that he did not want to use me anymore--which was fine--as I could already tell that this client was the kind of client lawyers refer to as a "problem client." The individual who wrote the comment requested the file be returned along with any unused funds. Having spent several hours of my time on this case, a bill for my prepared and the unused retainer returned. Apparently this individual did not like the fact that I had spent time on the case and billed him for it, as any lawyer would have done. Moreover, his discription of the case is an absolute misrepresentation because of the fact that he had to pay for work done for which I was retained. Avvo should not be a forum for people to fabricate and misrepresent a situation simply to complain about fees and the folks in charge should do something about this problem. I could literally have thousands of clients who I and my firm have helped with their immigration issues to put positive reviews here. I simply will not put up with folks lying about a situation in an attempt to damage our reputation. Glenn Fogle
