A caring counselor

I hired Deborah to help me file the papers in a divorce where my husband and I had already agreed to most of the terms. She helped me think through the possible outcomes and make decisions and helped me to keep costs down by letting me write much of the settlement agreement myself. She is knowledge...able and, I hear, can be tough on opponents, though I did not need that in my case.

Outstanding attorney

I was so fortunate to have Ms. Ebel agree to represent me. Needless to say, my divorce, after a 30 year marriage, was the most difficult time in my life. Ms. Ebel provided excellent legal leadership and went above and beyond my expectations. She was constant in her resolve to represent my interes...ts at every turn from mediation through the final appeal process. Ms. Ebel won each and every challenge. I wholeheartedly recommend her and I am forever grateful to her.

Five Stars!

Deborah Ebel did an amazing job and was helpful and knowledgeable. She was able to clearly explain to me what everything meant and the coarse of action to take. I trust her completely and it was a really good feeling during a stressful time.

Family Dispute

We have worked with Ms. Ebel twice in the past several years, first on custody and then on a contempt case where the defendant was not living up the the agreement set forth. She was incredibly understanding, responsive, and always sought out the best solution for all involved. Her counsel was excelle...nt and we know our outcome would not have been what it is without her.

"I endorse this lawyer. Debby was a staff attorney at the Atlanta Legal Aid Society during the time I was Director. She was a conscientious attorney in all of her work, but I particularly endorse her because of the amazing work she did for years representing the Mariel Cubans in the early 1980's. She worked tirelessly in that role in support of the rights of about 2000 Cuban detainees to due process. It was a daunting task to represent these clients against the federal government, particularly because there was almost no precedent to support our position, and in fact the precedent while old and questionable was against us. Debby was amazing in coming up with new theories and in putting together extensive briefs in very short periods of time. The quality of her work was applauded by the district court judge, Marvin Shoob, who heard the case; in fact she was entirely successful at the trial level (although not ultimately successful on appeal)."
