Biography
There are lots of skills that go into being a good appellate attorney: writing ability, courtroom presence, the ability to adapt to the preferences of judges in jurisdictions all across the state. But one skill is key: issue selection. I read case law over my morning coffee. I read it on my lunch break. I read it when I get home.
