Good Morning All:
I would like to terminate my contract and consult with Bell Washington effective immediately.
I understand you are all busy, but after signing with you, I feel that I have not received legal attention on my personal matters as it was discussed on the initial phone call and in... the interview in person.
My girls were being abused by their Mother when I reached out to you in December 2016, and all I could get from you was how we did not have a court date yet. Because of my sense of urgency, I reached out to my own personal contact (my sister-in-law who is a 2L) and she was actually responsible for getting the ball rolling for me to have custody of my daughters in January. As of today, 05/17/2017, we still have not heard from you on a final resolution to the temporary court order, plus we don't have a court date.
I have not received any financial support from my kid's mother, and she only abided by the visitation arrangement once. Meanwhile, I have had the extra stress of being laid off from my job as of 3/31/17.
It was very disturbing and heartbreaking to know that I had a court date and I didn't know about it, because I was not informed by my representation. Once again it was my sister-in-law who took action on 5/14/17 and informed me that my case was dismissed on 3/06/2017.
I have called your office serval times since 5/14/17, and have yet to receive a call back. It is unprofessional that I was not kept up to date on the status of my case and it is obvious that my legal issues are not a priority to you. If you were unable to manage my case, I would have appreciated the courtesy of being informed so that I could make an intelligent decision about whether to proceed with someone else.
As of 5/17/2017, I am requesting to terminate our agreement.
A Disappointed Dad,
