Divorce

I cannot say enough positive things about Mrs Edidiong Aaron and the Family matters law Group team. Navigating divorce and difficult exes is never a pleasant experience I remember how I find this law group after searching for a good law firm to represent me true google and decided to visit the office.... But wasn’t convince about them offering an excellent representation. I walked in with the feeling of uncertainty before the conversation began but Mrs Edidiong Aaron quickly put me at ease and made a tough situation feel manageable. Mrs Edidiong listens completely and answers thoughtfully. Her advice is practical, logical, and proved to be spot on in every instance. Mrs Edidion Aaron is strategic and pragmatic in her practice and I felt like I had a true advocate in my corner throughout the process and for that, I'm so incredibly grateful. I highly recommend The family matters law group should you find yourself needing an amazing, caring, A+ advocate!

Absolutely Recommend

I don't even know where to begin with this review... Let me start by saying I've had my fair share of dealing with different law firms for many years, so this review is not out of awe nor inexperience with what's out there. The staff members: I only worked with two closely- Edidiong and Amber. Ho...wever, everyone in that office made me feel like a family member every time I called or messaged them. Everyone knew, in detail, what was going on in my case. They were able to answer my questions proficiently, no matter who picked up the phone. How do yall do that for each of your hundreds of clients? Blows my mind. Amber was generally my main point of contact throughout. She heard me cry, she heard me laugh, and she walked me through all of it. The process: The thing about FMLG is that they are expertly organized. For me that is a deal winner. They listen to your situation. They strategize. They give you a gameplan, tell you what they need, then tell you to sit back. There is no constant calling nor constant stress on you. Any and all communications, uploads, and correspondence was done via portal. I have to say this was the most seamless litigation process that I've experienced. The price: For me there was a consultation fee of over $100 (can't remember exactly). I would say the accrued total for this case is average compared with what I have paid in the past. They know what they are worth, and after working with them, I know what they are worth. Earlier I mentioned there was no constant stress after retaining this attorney. How much is the pricetag on your stress? The attorney: -Edidiong Aaron. It took me awhile to figure out how to say her name and I read the reviews looking... So here it is. (Uh-Dee-Dee-On) -A special name for such a special person. She is like a train, consistently ejecting power at full force towards her objective. She gets lost in her cases and empathizes the pain with each of her clients. However, she's definitely not afraid to tell you when she needs you to change your mind of thought. She fought through and through for me until she was able to bring my daughter home. Overall this was a painful experience for me just like it will be for anyone else who is looking at reviews trying to find a family lawyer. But this team, they are finely crafted in what they do. That pain you're feeling will die in time as your court case ends but what happens at the end of your court case is permanent. Choose wisely.

Best Decision Ever

Where do I start? There are so many things that I can say about my experience with the Family Matters Law Group. I’ll try to keep it brief but lay out my experience from beginning to end. Confidentiality The level of confidentiality that I received while working with Attorney Aaron’s law firm i...s TOP NOTCH. She has her appointments and office flow set up in such a way that protects your integrity in the case that clients happen to know of each other. I have never seen any of her clients, and it took two years for my case to conclude. Compassion. As a single parent, I was slightly intimidated by the fact that my child’s father (who had been completely absent at the time for 7 years) made 3 times my salary and had me served with paper requesting my daughter's name change, custody, child support, and a travel stipend (to name a few from the ridiculous list). I was and had never been the parent to keep my child from her father. However, it was his choice not to be a part of her life, so being served with paperwork that made such outlandish requests was a total shock to me. I explained to Attorney Aaron that I was 100% in favor of them building a relationship but wanted to make sure that my child was protected as hit with minimal emotional distress from the abrupt nature of the situation. We sat down TOGETHER and drafted a parenting plan. She listened and made sure that she addressed my concerns within the plan. Graduated visitation was my preference, and that is what she fought for my daughter to have. She works for YOU. The lady doesn’t play. She gave me deadlines to meet so that her office sent everything to the courts promptly. My case dragged on for two years because the father did not adhere to his counsel’s requirements and ignored requests from Attorney Aaron and the courts. The estranged father and I should have been resolved in mediation, but I promise you it felt like the father just wanted me to keep paying more money. It didn’t matter because Attorney Aaron was worth EVERY. PENNY. The same parenting plan Attorney Aaron presented to my daughter's father during the first 6 months of the case is the same plan that the father ultimately accepted. I could not have navigated this without the help of the Family Matters Law Group. I found Attorney Aaron from a google search of family law attorneys in Clayton County. I read every single review that was provided and felt comfortable with pulling the trigger. I couldn’t have made a better choice. Period. She is the Simone Biles of Family Law. I don’t anticipate needing her again, but I definitely would recommend her to anyone that needs representation.

Exceptional Service

In April, 2020 I was summons by my daughter’s father with a Petition for Legitimation. In my desperate need to fight for my daughter, I was referred to attorney Aaron by a very good friend. When I initially met Ms. Aaron, I was angry, frustrated but most of all terrified. Terrified because althoug...h I knew the father has the right to legitimate his child, in my case he wasn’t deserving of that. From my initial meeting with Ms. Aaron (and her staff) they gave me the confidence that I was in great hands and would fight and advocate for my rights. Ms. Aaron was honest and realistic in letting me know that while she would do everything in her power to fight for my case, she was honest enough to say that the case could go either way. Throughout my entire case, Ms. Aaron and her staff were very communicative and what the next steps were. Every letter, filing and/or communication that would go out was communicated to me before hand and my opinion even mattered. While I gave them their space to work on my case, they were literally a phone call away for every question, comments and concerns I had. They even allowed me to vent! In the midst of my case, my daughter’s father and attorney withdrew from the case, yet I still had a fight within in and that was to regain my attorneys fees and all the unnecessary expenses I had incurred in this case by no fault of my own. On the morning of my final hearing, unknowing of what the outcome of my case would be, I thanked Ms. Aaron for her services. One would think one would wait to hear the end results before giving thanks but I had to thank her AND her team before hand because from the moment I met with her and her team, I knew they were worth it. The way Ms. Aaron fought my case and the way her team worked on every detail of my case made me feel as if I was their only client. Their means of communicating every detail with me and answering my phone calls and emails was truly an exceptional service. They truly made me feel important but most of all treated me as family not just a client. As for the outcome of my case, the victory was ours and I have God and the Family Matters Law Group to thank.

Excellent Outcome and Piece of Mind

I was lucky enough to have Attorney Aaron and the Family Matters Law Group recommended to me by a family friend. I had been in and out of the court system over the past several years battling custody issues with my ex. Having gone through 3 prior attorney's before finding them, and being a Male seeki...ng custody in a mostly conservative system, let's just say that my chances and hopes weren't at an all time high of obtaining an outcome that I would deem satisfactory. I listened intently to her team and followed her instructions to a T, and the outcome that I received was much greater than my expectations. 5 stars is not enough to rate the service, respect, attentiveness, responsiveness and outcome that I received. I would highly recommend utilizing Family Matters Law Group!

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"I had the pleasure of being the opposing counsel in a case against a party who was represented by Attorney Edidiong Aaron. It is rare that I say this about an opposing counsel, but Attorney Aaron certainly gave me a run for my money! She was thoroughly prepared each time we went to court, was professional both inside and outside the courtroom while still aggressively advocating for her client, and was a legal eagle when it came to her knowledge of the case laws and statutes. She certainly kept me on my toes! I have the utmost respect for Attorney Aaron and her practice of the law. Any client who hires her is guaranteed to get more than what they paid for. Any opposing counsel who has to face Attorney Aaron will be in for a rude awakening if they are even the slightest unprepared! Attorney Aaron brings the meaning back to true advocacy, which is rare to find in attorneys these days."
