I was being sued by a 3rd party debt collector for a debt that was allegedly mine. I responded to the claim as a "pro se" defendant but started to feel anxiety about the process so I sought counsel. The day before my court date, another attorney referred Jillian. I called her and we discussed my case... and she asked my expectations of an outcome. She agreed to take my case and immediately got to work.  The next day she met me at the court house an hour before my case was to be heard. She explained that she had amended my answer and submitted it along with a notice of appearance to the court. She gave me a copy of the amended answer to review. As we waited to enter the court, she explained to me what would likely occur when my case was called and answered all my questions. By the time we walked in the court room, all my anxiety was gone! She spoke with the plaintiff's attorney on my behalf and I didn't have to worry about anything! The plaintiff ended up requesting a continuance that day and Jillian kept me informed throughout the process and answered all of my questions along the way. In the end, I got the outcome I desired!
