Justin Buice Grubbs

I hired Mr. Grubbs on a case, and was very pleased with his services. I feel that he went above and beyond in handling my case. His knowledge of the law was excellent. He met with me on several occasions in his office, and he was very informative in his meetings, and would thoroughly explain things w...ith me, and took an ample amount of time when meeting with me each time. I never felt as though he wanted to rush me out or didn't want to take the time to help me. I am so thankful for his willingness to help me and handle my case. I was very pleased with the outcome.

I hired this law firm during one of the most difficult times in my life. I would like to say up front I never meet Mr. Grubbs or even talked to him for that matter. however his paralegal Abigail was god set. she was the most helpful. Answered all my questions. Responded super fast either in person, p...hone or email. she was more than just a paralegal. she wore that hat , the psychologist, the friend- basically the listening ear. she stayed open minded , non judgmental and helped me through the entire process. I cant thank her enough. No one really wins in my situation and at moments you can really feel alone. However having her by my side- I know I wasn't. She helped alleviate some of my worse fears. I would hire this firm again as long as she is there to help me through it.

I hired Justin on custody matter. At first he seemed legit but as soon as the opposing contested our action he backed down and didn't make one single legal argument for my case. Since my hearing he has avoided me and not responded to many calls/emails. Currently, I am seeking another attorney but ho...nestly I believe Justin has ruined my case due his delays in responding or failure to filing anything! He is seriously a terrible choice and will only make a difficult situation worse.

Mr. Grubbs was very kind and compassionate when I first me with him. He advised me that he could take my case and begin working on it immediately. He set what seemed like a fair retainer and said to call him anytime I had a question and we agreed that I would make continual payments to build up the b...alance on the account so he would have ample funds to support a good "fight". Mr. Grubbs advised that a certain part of the case would require an extra fee for an outside service provider and he quoted a specific amount. once I agreed to that amount and built the funds, I was contacted and advised that the cost for the outside service had literally doubled. This caused me a great deal of suspicion. Then Mr. Grubbs would not return my calls himself nor would he meet with me. I asked for a refund of the remaining funds on the account and I was contacted by Mr. Grubbs secretary and advised that there are no refunds and that he spent a great deal of time "Researching" my case which used most of the funds. I cannot get a response to a request for a detailed bill of time spent on my case nor can I get Mr. Grubbs to return my calls. I have since hired another attorney who has performed very well, provides regular billing statements, and even returns my calls. Please use caution when choosing an attorney. I have no way of knowing if this is a habit for Mr. Grubbs or a fluke. Either way, I am owed an explanation or some results. Neither of which have I gotten.
