Making the decision to file for divorce is messy, emotional, frightening, and in the majority of cases, life altering. Yet, the freedom that can result…it is a wondrous new beginning. In fact, it is with great joy that I have observed many of my clients reinvent themselves after a divorce—spiritually, mentally, socially, professionally, physically. Many have found the new loves of their lives; some have taken steps towards furthering their education and/or starting a new career; and, others have discovered new interests and hobbies or simply basked in their new-found peace. At the height of the pandemic in 2020, I stepped out in faith to commence a new beginning myself…I opened my own law firm – STEPHANIE WILSON FAMILY LAW, L.L.C.! I am in the process of reinventing myself as a family law attorney who has been in the practice for fifteen (15) years, while also polishing my role as a single mother of a beautiful and remarkable four (4) year-old daughter. At Stephanie Wilson Family Law, L.L.C., I have renewed my dedication to providing family law services to my clients, which are tailor-made and grounded in compassion and personal wellness, with an eye towards the future. Although such concepts have always been central to my career in family law, with my new firm, I am reinvigorated to create positivity in the lives of my clients. Divorce is a trauma, and while I cannot change that, family law attorneys certainly have the ability to minimize its effects and doing so is something I take very seriously.

Part of my professional reinvention has likewise been to broaden and solidify my professional network, so that I can confidently provide my clients with support from financial advisors and planners; accountants; therapists; real estate professionals; and, other attorneys, including those practicing in the areas of business, wills, trusts, and estates, employment, bankruptcy, personal injury, and the like. I have also expanded my reach within the community, serving as one of the founding members of Divorce Divas, which offers educational seminars, a support system, and valuable resources to individuals considering or experiencing divorce.
