Welcome to the sole practitioner, Attorney Timothy F. White. If you're looking for an attorney, keep these things in mind when making your decision:
Retain me and you'll not be dealing with untrained employees, legal assistants or paralegals that know little or nothing about the law or your particular case. Too many law firms believe it's OK for non-lawyers to handle most aspects of a client's case. From telephone calls with the client, obtaining medical records, interviewing witnesses, conducting legal research, etc. Wouldn't you prefer to have the lawyer handle these important tasks? I handle every part of each client's case. Every letter written is done so by me, personally. I also do all the legal research. Trusting a non-lawyer to find me the laws that apply to your case is not the way I practice law. Everything about your case, from the laws involved, to all available strategies, will be discussed with you in great detail.
The number one bar complaint is that an attorney will not return client phone calls. That never happens with me. If I represent you, you'll always have access to me. Call me seven days a week, even on holidays. If there's something you want to know, call me. I'm here for you, the client.
I am aggressive, but completely professional in court. Opposing attorneys are my colleagues, not my enemies. With 25+ years of courtroom experience, I am happy to take your case to a judge or jury trial.
I only accept as many cases every year that I can properly manage. Too many good lawyers are just too busy because they have way too many cases. You may have trouble getting a return phone call. You may be left in the dark about case details. Strategies about how to prepare your case may not be discussed with you. Most importantly, the lawyer in whom you placed your trust and confidence may be unavailable to give you reassurances and guidance when you need it most. Often times, this leaves you, the client, losing sleep, wondering how your case will end. Folks, unless I can give your case the attention it deserves, I won't take it. It's just that simple.
On this AVVO page you can read 35 real, former client reviews. I've only been asking for reviews for about ten years. Had I been asking for them since 1998, there'd be dozens more positive reviews, without a doubt. You can also Google me and read 70 more 5-star reviews that former clients and people that had legal consultations posted about me.
My goal is to make every client completely satisfied with my represetntation and to change the public's negative perception of attorneys. If you're serious about your legal situation and need an extremely detail-oriented, professional advocate, perhaps you just found the right attorney for your case.

Above and beyond
I contacted Mr. White about a year ago due to some business related issues I had and he did a great job. He was very demanding to the other lawyer on what my demands were and didn't settle until we thought it was a good deal. Since then he has done so much more for me, he is my go to lawyer for any ...
Thanks so much for the kind words. This client and her family are the people that truly make this country great. While business law isn't my primary area of practice, I was able to assist them with their needs after doing some research. Other matters that developed only needed some brief research and strong-worded legal letters demanding certain action. I'm so glad I could help and that they consider me their go-to attorney. Since the first call made to me, this client and family are now considered both clients and friends.

Hey everyone, So I hired Mr. White as my attorney to help with a pretty serious case. Had no clue what I had to do, he sat down and explained it very well to me. He's a very down to earth guy and you can call him at any resonable time and he will answer. I had quite a few serious charges and we aske...
I have to tell you, this was another of those cases that, when you hear the charges, you say: WOW! this is so bad! I assumed this client was facing jail or prison time for this one. This client did so many things wrong that night and he'd willingly agree. It was one thing to drive that trashed. It's another thing to help his friend he was following in another car escape the scene of a crash. My client pulled his friend off a person's front yard where his car crashed into three others on the property, and left the scene in my client's car. But, for whatever reason, my client returned to the scene a little while later. By this time, police were everywhere. A description of my client's car was out there, and he was immediately stopped. What's worse, he was questioned by police and admitted everything. This case began in a municipal court. Due to my client's age, any plea would result in a license suspension. The prosecuting attorney was tough on him. I convinced him that a delay as long as possible was the best approach. At the last minute, we transferred the case to the State Court. That court, however, quickly had the case moving forward. After a great deal of preparation and research, an incredible plea deal was negotiated and agreed to. However, my client was still under age and still faced license issues. I had to beg the judge for one continuance and he very reluctantly agreed. He did this only after scolding me in open court about everyone wants delays, continuances, etc. By the time the plea deal was taken, my client was 21 and as a result, no license issues resulted. What an incredible result. This client's life could have changed, big time, had the events of that night just been a little different. He's lucky nobody was injured or killed (other than his friend). The client's doing just fine now and definitely learned his lesson.

Did a wonderful job!

Last time we went to court with him for my wife the judge said don't come back again you will spend the rest of probation lock up. But Mr Tim had her out in like 3 hours I was prepared for the worst. There was a lady sitting in front of me who turn and said to me who is he ? He showed high respect f...
Well, I truly thank the author (client's husband) for these kind words. He is a true, honorable American, believe me. We were fortunate to have had a judge, a former prosecutor by the way, that is intelligent and truly wants to do what's right in every case. We plead out this client's DUI, because the stop of her vehicle was warranted and the video evidence was indisputable. That was the easy part. Shortly after taking the plea, the client faced a probation revocation due to testing positive for alcohol in a probation urine screen. Rather than give in, the client correctly chose to fight the accusation. Her medical condition provided a valid argument that contradicted (at least confused) the state's evidence. Moreover, even if the judge disregarded my medical explanation, I offered what I felt was the best possible argument in that situation. I argued, professionally, that even assuming the client violated probation by drinking, quitting an addiction, like alcohol, is not as simple as flipping a switch. I reasoned that the judge should expect addicts on probation to relapse. I argued that the judge should release the client back on probation because she is trying to beat the addiction. As already mentioned, the judge did release her. A wonderful result for a man and his wife that deserve the best in life.

Timothy White review
My Dad has used this lawyer more than once, when he found himself victim in two different automobile accidents. What I appreciated most about Mr. White was his practical and dependable approach. We needed a lawyer, hired him, he did his job and kept us informed. So many times in today's world peop...
Wow, thanks for the review. It's nothing short of AMAZING that this man didn't suffer much more serious injuries, even death, in one or both of these collisions. One was a tractor-trailer that hit him from behind while he was stopped. The truck was traveling at least 50 m/p/h. This client utilized my connections for medical treatment for his injuries without any money or insurance up front. Prior to retaining me, he used his private insurance and Medicaid at the emergency room. Once his case settled, I negotiated a lower payment to Medicaid than those that were billed by the hospital. He's doing just fine now and was an absolute pleasure to represent.
"I endorse this lawyer. I had a Petition for Temporary Protective Order case against Mr. White. I was impressed with his professionalism and the way he fought for his client. In addition, he was very knowledgeable about the law. He is a colleague I would highly recommend to others seeking representation."
"I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. White on a case in Pickens County. He was professional in the defense of his clients and litigated zealously on their behalf."
"I endorse this lawyer. Mr. White is highly regarded in the legal community and by his clients--just take a look at his reviews. Mr. White also takes the time to respond to many legal questions here on Avvo. Mr. White does this for free. The fact that he is willing to devote his time to assist people without pay is a testament of his character. He is not just a lawyer to make a living--Mr. White truly wants to help people. If you are looking for an attorney near Jasper, you will not regret hiring Mr. White."
"Tim has a great reputation within the legal community. He is smart and tenacious in his pursuit of his clients' interests. I am happy to recommend Tim."
"Over the past 20 years of practicing law in the same jurisdiction and matters as Tim I have never seen a more ethical and intelligent attorney! His ability to analyze the law and legal principles then apply them to his client's facts and circumstances to achieve the best possible outcome is far superiour to most other attorneys in the State of Georgia. His litigation skills in a courtroom is phenomenal! As an attorney myself I would not have any doubts or regrets in having Tim represent me, a family member a or a friend on any matter."
