I received a time sensitive statement of claim and I contacted my state benefits to get a list of lawyers. I researched the list and chose Ms. Arnold based on the reviews. I called Ms. Arnold's law firm on Monday, September 14 to set up a consultation. I was told I would get a call back. No call back.... Called Tuesday and was told the same thing. No call back. Called Wednesday to ask if she is taking new clients because I figured maybe this was why I did not receive a call back. I was told she is taking new clients. I let the secretary know that this was my third time calling and that I just wanted a consultation to see if she would take my case. I explained the issue and stated that I had 30 days to respond. I was told the message was taken and I would receive a call back. No call back. Today is Friday and I still have not heard from Ms. Arnold. Therefore I have moved on to another lawyer on my list. I think that at this point, even if she called me back, I would not hire her. The unprofessionalism is just too much for me to get over. If debt collection is her specialty then Ms. Arnold is quite aware of the sensitive nature of a debt collection. The fact that she could not even return my call, have an associate return my call or have her secretary call me to set up a consultation speaks volumes to me about how she would handle my case. Unfortunately this is a debt that I did not create but I am responsible for it and I just want to get it over with and move on. Once again I tried to patronize someone who I thought I should support and again another bad experience. These reviews may be glowing but this was not my experience and I just want it to be known.
