Racial Injustice
I had the pleasure of working with an attorney who cares and fought for me. Although the criminal disposition was not what we wanted or expected, he did the best he could under the pressures of racial injustice. He kept everything transparent and encouraged me to continue to fight after I complete the terms and conditions of my 6 month diversion. He has inspired me to not fold under the unethical practices of legal authorities and to stand up for what's right, even if it is an uphill battle. I intend to pursue legal action to fight for my civil rights and win this war in due time. Thank you again, Mr. Robinson.

One Awesome Lawyer
Mr. Robinson was a wonerful lawyer. My son was in a very serious situation where he could have spent years for defending hisself and the life of his girlfriend.. No doubt in my mind that my son would have been in prison had it not been for Mr. Robinson.. I would use him again in a heartbeat...He was professional and took time to answer all our questions. Always a phone call away !! Thank you for all you did for our family !!

Lacking in Integrity and Character
My son and I have lodged a complaint with the State Bar (CAP) against Mr. Robinson. He recently contacted me via email apologizing for the way he handled my son’s case or should I say the lack of handling my son’s case and his blatant disrespect. He agreed to refund my money and requested that I agree to a payment arrangement. I agreed. Mr. Robinson missed the first payment and when I contacted him, he told me that he would pay me next month (March) after he gets more “clarity”. He stated that he’d be in contact. Bear in mind I had to contact him about the missed payment. I setup a payment arrangement that was more than doable for an attorney. I requested the same that he requested from me and my income was nothing of an attorney’s. He didn’t contact me to inform me that it would be late or that he would make the payment sometime next month. It was a struggle getting information about the case, getting return calls and getting professional behavior. He hung up on me numerous times and became angry when I would get information elsewhere. A staff member of his agreed to speak to the Bar on my son’s behalf. I have text messages and emails that were forwarded to CAP and I will be forwarding the emails where he agreed to the refund and where we discussed his payment arrangement. He made a trying time even more difficult. I have a chronic illness that was exasperated due to the constant struggle for information and just general decency. I ended up hospitalized. I am a professional who worked as a Medical Billing Manager and Office Manager for a prominent Radiation Oncologist, so I was always mindful of his time and always understood that my son was not his only client. I will be persuing fee arbitration with CAP or taking him to small claims court to get the refund he agreed to and that I deserve. I am discussing with an attorney which would be best. CAP is still looking into my complaint. I am confident that justice will be served. I worked hard to pay him and never missed a payment. He took my money and did little for my son’s case. This was confirmed by a member of his staff that tried her best to get answers for me while I was hospitalized. She saw the lack of communication and respect. I wouldn’t recommend him to a single soul. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for counsel.

Response from Thomas Robinson February 2, 2023
Your complaint concerning my work was that I “did little.” This is untrue. I argued to get your son a bond. I attended his arraignment and other court dates. I prepared his case for trial twice. I negotiated a plea with the prosecutor. The case against your son was a very strong armed robbery. He allegedly robbed a retail establishment with several customers and was caught shortly thereafter when the stolen phones pinged. Notwithstanding the fact that I did the actual work I was supposed to do I offered to refund money to you out of sympathy and empathy. I have continued to avoid conflict. Rather than work in a conciliatory manner to try to resolve your concerns you slander and attack. The results of my work show my competency. God is my witness that I have no desire except to help those who honor me by choosing me to represent them. Your post is undeserving and without any facts. I really do sympathize with your illness but it doesn’t excuse saying things that are not true. I remain committed to bringing a conciliatory resolution of your concerns.
