Night and Day

After experiencing an attorney that did very little for my case I retained Melody in hopes that she would be more communicative with me and more aggressive on my behalf. Melody exceeded my expectations. She spent a good amount of time and effort wrangling t information needed from the opposition bef...ore guiding me through a 7 hour mediation. Melody was honest and caring. She was comfortable with financials, and pushed back opposing counsel when appropriate. In the end I was very happy with the outcome and will recommend her as a caring and competent divorce attorney.

She gave me my life back!

There aren't enough words to express how thankful I am for Melody Swilling and her fantastic representation on my case! I was panicking when I contacted Melody because my whole life was being turned upside down by a false accusation. Melody heard my story and immediately said the words I needed to he...ar to me at ease (to paraphrase, it went something like "I got this."). I know she gets paid to passionately defend her clients, but it appeared that Melody had personally taken on my fight. Melody made me feel as if she saw the injustice and was determined to right the wrong. I never felt like I was just a client/number. I could always reach her or her paralegal, Loddie. Someone always answered my phone calls or returned my emails (and there were many in my panicked state). I give Melody (and her team) a 10. In the courtroom, Melody was a pit bull! Don't be fooled by her calm and pleasant personality, or you might underestimate her fire in the courtroom! She was confident and highly skilled. I had no doubt that my case would be won after seeing her "go to work" in the courtroom. Melody not only won my case, but she also won several concessions that acknowledged the frivolous nature of my case. I am so thankful for Melody Swilling. She gave me my life back!

Melody is not only a superior attorney, She and the members of her firm have a unique ability to “connect the dots” between the client, the disputes and the family legal quagmire. My divorce, while unique and emotional, was navigated by Melody and her staff with vigor, expertise and they provided a n...ecessary calming effect. Melody’s ability to maintain relationships with all parties involved, while keeping the best interests of her client is exemplar. My divorce required an attorney that could wade through the muddy waters of emotion and see the nuanced realities and their relationship to the legal process. She brought all of it back down to earth. My divorce included unique filings, Child and a long difficult legal road ahead with lots of lies and allegations from spouse. Wish and pray nobody falls in my shoes but if you did and can afford and ready to bring the truth, this is the right firm.

Hard Time Made Easier

Melody and her entire staff made a very emotional divorce easier. She was professional while also being a caring advocate for me. She listened and understood what things were very important and fought to get them for me. At all times I knew that she'd be available for me via phone or quick email and ...that every issue would be resolved. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

My review of Melody Swilling (from Hait, Eichelzer, & Kuhn) regarding my divorce.

I went to Hait, Eichelzer & Kuhn to file for divorce. At first I just wanted counsel about divorce and the process. I met with Lizz Kuhn in the beginning of the process then Melody Swilling stepped in as Lizz had a baby. She was able to come into the process as if I had been working with her the whol...e time. Melody was always very friendly and professional. She helped me with Mediation and in the final court hearing following through till the divorce was final. Melody was very knowledgeable and during the mediation process she really looked out for me and what was best for the children. She drafted the settlement papers and was very through. She was available to make changes as needed until a final settlement had been reached. She put me at ease during the final hearing and was able to make last minute changes that day. I left the process feeling protected and am not worried about my future concerning the divorce as everything was spelled out in the settlement agreement. I am very grateful to this law firm. I have and will recommend Melody.
