Awesome person you want her on your team!!!!

You can’t find another attorney who would fight for your child as if he/she were their own. ALLISON does!!!!!!! She is the pit bull you want on your side. She listens to you and your child. 4 years ago she helped me turn my child’s education around!!! Trust When I say she gets it done. She g...oes into every meeting like she is promoting and defending her own child. She is there for you and your child. She is tough and knows what she is doing. You need to listen to what she has to say. The only way you can go wrong is to not call her and get her on your side!!!!!

Amazing attorney and advocate

Allison helped us with an IEP plan, classroom placement and negotiating wirh Fulton County Public Schools. She taught us about our rights and gave us the confidence to stand up for our son. He went from being in a self contained class to mainstreamed in general education with a paraprofessional to as...sist him. I truly believe none of it would have happened without her.

Excellent consult

I had a specific concern regarding the IEP eligibility process. Allison spoke with me on the phone for 5 minutes. She clarified the situation for me and I was able to confidently advocate for my child during the meeting because I had the specific information I needed. I also emailed her for clarifica...tion around IEP services in an AP HS class. She quickly responded with excellent information that I was able to use to "enlighten" the school. I recommend her highly.

Special ed attorney

I hired Allison to assist with a mediation against the school system. My daughter had been bullied, had not received supports and services outlined in her IEP, and was not making progress. We had been working with an advocate and the advocate recommended including an attorney for the mediation. It wa...s very helpful for preparation and to have her day-of expertise. I would absolutely hire her again if needed. Beyond her paid legal services, she also offers public service by her Facebook thread, website, and blog, sharing important cases, legal issues, and things to watch for. She speaks at various events, providing information on IEPs and related topics for new parents. She is a great resource to the special needs community.

Thankful for Allison

Allison’s wise discernment was a godsend in meeting my son’s ( Noah) educational needs. She was was very attentive & honest. We had an in house consultation where she brought to my attention things that needed to be addressed in my son’s IEP. His IEP went from a seven page IEP to a 16 page IEP aft...er receiving help from Allison. She has attended numerous IEP meetings with me since our initial consultation. I know presently my son receives services that I had never considered when I first consulted her. I am so thankful I asked her to be a part of Noah’s IEP team. After her help, I believe communication between my son’s school & I is so much better. The school & I are not adversaries but are a team in meeting my son’s needs. That is in some part because of Allison’s discerning eye is guiding what is best educationally. I would advise anyone to consult with Allison because you will leave much better prepared than you are presently.
