Great Special Ed. Attorney!
The best thing I did for my son's education was hire Allison. She is very knowledgeable and always knows what to cover at annual IEP meetings. We have been using her for over four years now. She's worth every penny she charges!

This lady is a fraud.
This lady charged me over 1,900$ and went to one IEP meeting. On top of that the IEP was a zoom she’s owes me really all my money back but she says I have 735$ left and I haven’t received it yet by mail. It’s been going on a week.if I don’t get my money back I’m calling the state bar.smh
I'm sorry that you failed to understand the concept of an hourly rate, which is a very common and acceptable way for private attorneys to bill for their services. It was discussed with you on the phone, as well as reflected in the retainer agreement that you signed. And in fact, the amount of time I put into your case far exceeded the fees that I charged and rightfully earned. I only regret that you did not allow me to complete what I started, which I offered to do once I became aware that you misunderstood the fee agreement, offered at a fraction of the rate you had agreed upon. As far as returning your balance on retainer, unfortunately, I have no control over the US mail. It has been less than 5 days since it was likely picked up from the mailbox -- I'm sure it will arrive before long. Best of luck to you and your child!

Our son’s private tutor regularly attends IEP meetings for students with Language Based Learning differences, and indicated that she had never attended a meeting as collaborative and positive in tone as our meeting led by Allison Vrolijk. We struggled for many years to get an IEP for my son until we...

Excellent Education Advocate
My child's middle school tried to block my child's access to a 504 Plan even after we had a comprehensive Psycho-Educational exam and report showing he was profoundly ADHD and only needed simple accommodations. Thanks to Ms. Vroliijk's knowledge of the law, my child's rights, and the education issues...
