Awesome person you want her on your team!!!!

You can’t find another attorney who would fight for your child as if he/she were their own. ALLISON does!!!!!!! She is the pit bull you want on your side. She listens to you and your child. 4 years ago she helped me turn my child’s education around!!! Trust When I say she gets it done. She g...oes into every meeting like she is promoting and defending her own child. She is there for you and your child. She is tough and knows what she is doing. You need to listen to what she has to say. The only way you can go wrong is to not call her and get her on your side!!!!!

Superb!

Alison, not knowing me at all, spoke with me in consultation over the phone in detail about my sons situation. This was a free phone consultation. She gave me a piece of advice that shaped how we handled the situation and has changed our lives. We never had to retain Alison, but she’s the only attorn...ey we would ever use specializing in special needs.

Special ed attorney

I hired Allison to assist with a mediation against the school system. My daughter had been bullied, had not received supports and services outlined in her IEP, and was not making progress. We had been working with an advocate and the advocate recommended including an attorney for the mediation. It wa...s very helpful for preparation and to have her day-of expertise. I would absolutely hire her again if needed. Beyond her paid legal services, she also offers public service by her Facebook thread, website, and blog, sharing important cases, legal issues, and things to watch for. She speaks at various events, providing information on IEPs and related topics for new parents. She is a great resource to the special needs community.

Caring, Empathetic, Real

We hired Allison after we had a few problems with my son’s school and how they were handling his behavioral challenges. Allison was amazing in her attention to detail, her understanding of our situation, and how we could deal with the school and help our son. I sought out Allison because I dealt wi...th her as a school employee, and I was impressed with her knowledge of school law and her realistic view on what can and can’t be done. I’ve recommended her to many folks who sit in that precarious position of educator and parent.

An advocate with heart and soul

I contacted Allison when my son was diagnosed with ADD and I was faced with the enormous task of navigating the school system to get him the help he needed without much success and a lot of frustration. Several moms in a group I’m a part of referred me to Allison and highly recommended her. Allison t...ook her time to speak with me and listened to my concerns and then explained the laws and options for me to ensure my son would be able to realize his maximum potential. With her guidance and expertise, I was empowered to advocate for my child and take an active role in designing his education plan. She has great passion for her work and what she believes in and has made it her life’s mission to use her immense knowledge of the school system, special education advocacy, and the law to help give parents the best chance of securing a bright future for our children. I highly recommend Allison’s service to help you become the advocate your child needs!
