Glenn E. Cooper has a lifetime of experiences in helping others. Prior to attending law school, Glenn was a social worker with his emphasis in drug and alcohol rehabilitation. As an attorney, he has actively defended his clients through criminal defense and domestic law for the last 25 years. He has also had a thriving immigration law practice for the past 2 years. Mr. Cooper’s concern for people and families propelled him into all family law cases including custody cases, family violence, child support and divorce. Further, Mr. Cooper’s practice has an emphasis in criminal defense, from all misdemeanors to all felonies where he is ready to take all cases to jury trial thereby aggressively representing his clients. However, he also realizes that his negotiation skills are just as important as his trial skills in negotiating the best resolution for his clients. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Atlanta Law School in 1987 and decided to practice in Georgia. He favored Georgia due to the compassionate, knowledgeable judges whom he believes are the best in the country. Volunteerism is another priority in Mr. Cooper’s profession. He is a firm believer in counseling before divorce, and is very aware of the effects that divorce has on children. His team is available to counsel clients going through these difficult life situations. Mr. Cooper also has the honor of being appointed by many judges as a Guardian ad Litem to assist the courts in custody disputes and ascertain what is in the best interest of the children and report his results to the judge. He has also been the recipient of the Pro Bono Project Award. A litigation/trial attorney by profession, Mr. Cooper has set himself above many other family practice lawyers. He has an unwavering belief that people should try to mediate and resolve issues before going through a divorce, and he is committed to making his clients’ experiences less traumatizing. However, Mr. Cooper also realizes that many cases must be aggressively litigated and he has earned the respect from the Courts and other attorneys and is ready to take all cases to trial and be relentless in his representation. Mr. Cooper is a member of The Association Trial Lawyers of America, the Atlanta Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Family Law Section of the Atlanta Bar Association, the Gwinnett County Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia, and is licensed in every court in Georgia, up to the Supreme Court.

Genuinely cares about his clients and their families
Glenn was more than our attorney. He was our friend, our advisor and the person who we were able to confide in through some of our darkest moments. He stood with us for over 7 years! Wisdom and Compassion
Glenn is an amazing attorney. He was very considerate, kind, and compassionate - especially after learning there was domestic violence involved in my divorce case. Wonderful Experience
After several bad experiences with attorneys for various assignments, Glenn has restored my confidence regarding the competence of an attorney. He set me at ease with his calmness and questions that were pertinent fact finding questions allowing me to discuss personal and sensitive information regarding family. He was very thorough in explaining legal documents and efficiently broke down complex legal terms with visual analogies using pens and paper to provide an understanding that even a minor would have been able to comprehend. Terrific Attorney - recent divorce client
I'm not sure where to begin on this review... After realizing I needed a good attorney to assist in finalizing my divorce, I was very nervous about who I should choose to represent me. I knew I chose the right one when the first sentence out of his mouth after introducing himself was something like.... "Take a breath... you're going to be ok". After telling him my situation he was spot on with developing a plan of action. He was very open and honest with different scenarios of outcomes. He helped me every step of the way. Even during court and mediation when I felt threatened and intimidated... he protected me and won my case hands down. It was a horrible time in my life... Glenn was very dedicated to me and my children... Laying firm guidelines for my ex-husband in order to keep us safe. He's also encouraging and caring. He is truly amazing and walked with us through a very bad situation. I highly recommend him. I still check in from time to time... he's like family now.

Breach of Contract Case

Breach of Fiduciary Responsibility
I recently had to hire Mr. Glenn Cooper to represent me in a case against my ex-husband who broke his fiduciary responsibilities as the sole custodian over my son’s savings account. Even though I was very nervous about hiring an attorney, a lifelong friend of mine recommended Mr. Cooper to me. I have to say I’m extremely glad I hired Mr. Cooper. From the onset Mr. Cooper was very attentive to my situation and acted immediately on my behalf (and ultimately my son’s behalf). I felt completely comfortable with Mr. Cooper and his staff. Mr. Cooper and his staff worked very diligently with me and acted quickly to not only set things in motion but also to get done what needed to get done. Mr. Cooper responded quickly to my questions/concerns pertaining to my case. Because of Mr. Cooper’s diligence on my behalf, I was able to recoup what rightfully belonged to my son. Be careful!
I wont say any bad about his knowledable, he looks like he knows what he is doing. BUT he never answer any of our calls, that makes us to dont trust him, and looked like he didnt do a good job handling our case! My husband called him and sent him emails and never had an answer back, after that I set down in his office till I were able to speak to him, and it wasnt 30 Minutes wait and I spoke with one of his associate and saw Cooper for um minute.... I am disappointed because he looks good in the first talking, by the way he is a good sales men, but after that do not expect he will call you back! He should let other lawyers help him on his cases and maybe he would do a better job!

Every client of mine is told that if they call and can not reach me, to please send me an email that I try to respond to the same evening. I am a trial attorney and when I am in Court, I am unable to receive or return a phone call. I appreciate the client's understanding.

Lost Hope
Green was very caring at first. Dealing with my husbands cases for a about 6 years now. Now that we need him the most , he gives us the advise to throw the towel in ! We tried calling him to understand what’s going on with the case and there is no communication . We left messages, voicemails and even went to the office and we heard nothing from him . Even to this day ! Took our money all this time and still no movement with our husband case .

Do not use
I used this guy and his cohorts in a child support situation. I let my son move to his mothers in Ga. and had an order for child support. She then began to manipulate the flawed system and take advantage of counties not communicating with each other while she was defrauding the system and was recievin benifits. Since I was out of state the state of Ga. charged me with abandonment even though I was paying child support on the controlling order. I paid this guy tens of thousands of dollars and was in the right legally to oppose the charges. The day of the hearing, Glenn Cooper sent a lawer over I had never met to represent me. He advised that I plead guilty to the felony of abandonment or I would go to jail. He got his money, did not pursue the truth and left me to hang. Since then I overpaid my child support, lost my relations to my best friend my son and remain a FELON. Since, I represented myself in my state and the court ruled they were wrong in their handling of the case and that I could sue my son's mother for her fraud. Glenn had the opportunity to fix a broken system but he chose to take the money and turn me into a felon. He's a wannabe, that's why he left Boston. He essentially ruined my life as a productive human being.
