I am an adoptive parent myself and have handled independent, agency, relative, and stepparent adoptions, as well as, the domestication of foreign adoptions. I have been the principal author of Georgia's adoption statutes since 1977. I am the Chair of the annual continuing legal education confrerence on Adoption Law & Practice in Georgia. I am a Fellow in the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys.

I have helped hundreds of individuals plan their estates and believe it is most important for my clients to be prepared for the only thing we know for certain -- that we will die.

I have an adult daughter with Down syndrome and I have experience with trust planning including Special Needs Trusts and like for my clients to consider using The Georgia Community Trust as an option.

I have handled many guardianship matters and welcome the opportunity to be of service to a family when this is appropriate.
