Biography
Clarence O. Taylor IV is passionate about the practice of law and his ability to combine his legal experience with his background in psychology during his representation of clients.
Clarence received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Georgia in 1991. In 1998 he was awarded his Doctorate from the Department of Counseling and Psychological Services at Georgia State University. He then received his Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law in December of 2000. Clarence was admitted to the practice of law in Georgia in May, 2001 and is presently the owner of The Taylor Law Group.
After gaining significant experience with a boutique family law practice, Clarence left the firm to begin a partnership which subsequently became Clarence O. Taylor IV, P.C., and The Taylor Law Group. Presently, the Firm maintains a family law practice in Marietta and Savannah.
The Taylor Law Group is focused on the areas of divorce, contested child custody matters, child support actions, modification of child custody, support or alimony litigation and contempt issues. Clarence offers his clients tremendous insight in handling their cases by combining his psychological knowledge and legal experience.
Clarence served as a Magistrate Judge while maintaining the Firm's private law practice. Clarence's judicial experience gave him tremendous insight into the legal process, including the issuance of criminal warrants, warrant applications and small claims matters. This experience allows Clarence to better advise and help clients navigate an otherwise overwhelming and often intimidating legal system.
Clarence is a trial lawyer whose fundamental premise is honesty and integrity with both clients and the Court. He represents clients zealously and believes that parties to family law litigation are entitled to maintain the dignity and respect they enjoyed during the marriage. Clarence has tried numerous domestic cases before juries and judges, all while merging compassionate representation with zealous advocacy.

Fail to prepare
This lawyer fail to prepare for the case properly after several months of evidence had been provided and the trial rebuttal was put together the day before the trial, which displayed poor representation in court. This case was drawn out for his personal monetary gain.
