I put my trust into this man the very first time I met him. I listened to every thing he told me cause I was in a very bad situation, lol he talk a good game to a fool but if you’re not a fool he’s game not so good. With Mr.Reid you have to know what you want for yourself realistically and it seems l...ike he try’s to get you as close as possible to what you want but he didn’t go the extra miles I thought he would go , maybe cause he was court appointed I feel if i would’ve of paid out of pocket I would’ve had a better outcome and I hope people really read this I felt like he tried to trick me at the end , we end up getting a plea I was willing to take it was 10 years parole edible and he says to me “part of your plea is that you testify on your codefendant if he goes trial”. I told him no I will not, he told me i was making a big mistake and said he’ll try to work it out before court. The day come he asked if I was ready and I straight told him I won’t be signing if I have to testify and said I didn’t have to so deep down I felt he tried to play both sides 2020-2022

Excellent Lawyer, Caring and Professional

Reid Thompson is a life saver! I was facing over 30 years for my case. Mr. Thompson was my appointed lawyer by the state and I’m thanking God all mighty for blessing me with such a superb lawyer. He’s highly trustworthy, professional, caring, and fought for me as if I paid him upfront! He truly have ...a heart for people. He listened to my concerns and he gives great advice. As I stated before I was facing 30 years and after his phenomenal closing arguments I only received 2 years with the possibility of parole. Thank you, thank you, thank you Mr. Thompson. I am so grateful for you and I highly recommend this lawyer to everyone.

Not a criminal defense attorney

Mr Thompson failed us on many levels. He did not file motions on time, did not take into account our requests, said he would visit his client on many occasions and didn't show up. He was also very condescending and didn't clearly explained to us what was going on in court. He might be good for small ...claims but he sure isn't putting any work into criminal cases. Or he may just not be knowledgeable in that area. We thought that because he had been a D.A. in that county, he would do a better job than someone who wasn't familiar with this court but we ended up wondering if he wasn't still working for the D.A ! Because of his incompetence, we are now in a worst position than before.

Avvo has refused to identify this reviewer or to even confirm they were actually a client. Avvo has acknowledged this review may in fact be a scam or prank, but they still refuse to remove the review. Since I have no idea who posted this review, it is impossible for me to intelligently respond to it, other than to point out the stark contrast between this review and those of my actual clients.

Reid Thompson is a man of few words but when he does speak watch out! He is a lawyer that is unlike any lawyer I have ever know. He is someone who stuck by me through five years of a long drawn out trial. I would highly recommend Reid to anyone who needs a lawyer who knows what the hell they are doin...g. He has a great back ground in law!

nice guy.... very straight forward.... anyone needing an attorney call Reid.... even gave my fiancée' free advice..... oh... and by the way..... my charges were DISMISSED!
