Lolita Khaleelah Beyah

I hired Lolita to represent my CS and custody case and I was very satisfied with the outcome. Throughout the case I remained well informed on the progress, I received emails regularly and I felt comfortable communicating with Lolita and her team in events where I had questions or comments. We handled... the entire case including the hearings virtually due to the pandemic and court closures, which I was initially very nervous about but in the end I did not feel that the virtual process was any less efficient than face to face. I will say that Lolita is very straight forward, I met with a few other attorneys before retaining and from my first conversation with Lolita I noticed a difference. She was honest and prepared me for realistic expectations. Though Lolita is a great attorney, the actual reason why I took the time to write this review is because what I appreciated the most about her was how compassionate she was to my specific situation, you don’t see that much in attorneys. When under a high level of stress/emotions it is so refreshing to have someone in your corner who not only wants you to have the best possible outcome in the courtroom but also in life.

Lolita k. Beyah and her team were fabulous, very friendly, professional and very efficient. I was going through a case where i saw no end anytime soon, and I didn't think I would make it through, until I met attorney beyah. The day I met her I was scheduled to meet with another attorney but as soon as we sat down and talked, immediately I knew she was the lawyer for me. I was looking for a lawyer to represent me in my divorce, and I was referred to Lolita Beyah. I was in one of the most vulnerable positions that I have ever been in my life, but after I called Lolita my outlook on my future totally changed. Not only did this phenomenal woman represent me to the fulle...st, she was my cheerleader outside of the courtroom. I was scared and unsure of the whole process, but she walked me through each step. I would call her about my fears and concerns, and each time she would explain the process to me in addition to calming my anxiety and reminding me that I was not alone in the fight. She never lost her patience or made me feel like I was asking too many questions or contacting her too much. I remember when I first found out that I was going to be testifying in a public courtroom, and I was terrified. She stayed on the phone with me until she calmed my fears. Lolita, arranged a meeting, so that she could give me tips on how to conduct myself in a courtroom, and she also gave me one of the most memorable pep talks that you can get from a woman who not only knows what you are going through, but actually wants to make sure that the outcome will put you and your children in a better position. Lolita is also a great lawyer because she wants both parties to work together, so that ultimately the children will benefit. I was prepared to be angry and fight my ex in every way possible, but she reminded me that the goal is to become great co parents to your children. She is not a push over by any means, but she wants both parties at the end to have some common ground, so that the children will not suffer. This was great for me because it made me take myself out of the equation and think of the most important parties in the situation, and that is my children. I ended up not going to court, but we had to do mediation; which took about 4 hours. She was so professional and knew the whole case like the back of her hand. You could tell that she really prepared for my case, and that she sincerely cared about the outcome. I think my husband’s lawyer thought she was a pushover, but he quickly got the hint and moved accordingly. She was able to get everything that I asked for. This was such a blessing for me and my children, since we had went without any support for nine months. My case has been resolved, but Lolita stills checks on me. She takes time out of her busy schedule to give me pep talks and words of encouragement. Not only did I find a lawyer, I found a mentor and a friend. We often get so caught up in doing a job that we forget the small tokens of kindness that add to the entire experience. Lolita has not forgotten this aspect of wonderful customer service. If you need an awesome lawyer, there is no need to look anything further.
