Absolutely recommend this law firm and in particular my attorney Lance Dutton. Lance was amazing in handling my crazy divorce that had an overbearing and untruthful opposing attorney... he was able to refute and disprove anything they threw our way. He is VERY detailed and provides great guidance. M...y divorce was extremely long and Lance became more than my attorney as he treated me like a friend that genuinely cared about getting the best results for me. Loved working with his paralegal Lynn as well. Hopefully will never need him again but if so I definitely won’t hesitate to have him represent me.

Lance Dutton represented my son in three cases and he kept us informed of all aspects of the cases as they occurred by phone, e-mails and even texts. All calls or emails that we made to him were answered usually in a matter of a few minutes and definitely by the end of the day, either by Lance or hi...s amazing staff. Lance was very knowledgeable about the law and it showed when he was able to combine two cases and get my son the best possible outcome. 5 stars are not enough to rank this wonderful attorney and truthfully, my words cannot deliver the same kind of justice to Lance that he fights to attain for his clients. To say we are satisfied with what Lance did is an understatement! He deserves much more credit and recognition than mere words ...can offer. Lance Dutton is an extremely talented, knowledgeable and diligent attorney. He LOVES the law and is not afraid to fight for his client's rights. He is open, honest and hard working. You can trust that Lance is focused on your best interests, 100%. Lance will push and fight and is patient to make sure that YOU are represented, and is always focused on making sure he gets the best arrangement possible for you. He is not afraid to go to trial, either. This is so important because many attorneys never go to trial - they prefer to make a plea agreement and oftentimes that fear of trial means you are not receiving the representation you need. He wants to make sure your rights are respected. Professional and courteous, he will tell you straight what he thinks you should do based on the individual circumstances of YOUR case and the case law that's already been determined by cases that have come before yours and become part of jurisprudence in your jurisdiction. If you need representation, you WANT Lance by your side. And Lance is a very rare attorney who specializes in a cross-section of law that not many understand. He knows criminal law and he knows family law. When the two intersect, he knows when and how to bring the details from one courtroom into the other. This is so important because, during very nasty, contentious divorce proceedings people often behave at their very worst, especially when children involved. There are frightening tactics people going through divorce take to try and bolster their chances, including pursuing criminal charges against the other party. Lance has seen and fought this from happening. Because of his experience in both types of courtrooms - criminal and civil - he is a true asset to his client! A family member in such a situation was faced with serious criminal charges and an ADA that did not want to budge. We went to the initial calendar call with one expectation, present with representation hired before switching to Lance, but were surprised and unsettled when the ADA offered a deal that was not satisfactory. My family member was innocent of the charges - having been overcharged - and a plea to the deal would have irrevocably and very negatively affected the life of my relative and the ongoing custody case. The first attorney was not as familiar with civil law and told me he couldn't win this case in a trial. He wasn't comfortable with being able to bring the civil aspects that had fueled the criminal charge into the courtroom. We left that initial calendar call saddened, concerned, and bewildered. Understanding the civil history was so necessary to properly defend my relative. So we left and immediately had a conference call with Lance. That very day. And hired Lance. That very day! Lance listened! He understood! He was READY to take this on! From that moment on, things changed! Lance recognized the plea was not favorable, he armed himself with the necessary details, was VERY patient with our continued questions and anxiety, and set to work turning around an agreement that was just. The court system can be reasonable and just if your attorney comes forward with confidence and strength on your behalf. Lance was ready to fight in a trial. If he wasn't...if he didn't prepare as if he had to go to trial...if he didn't show the strength and confidence in his client and his case, taking the time to understand the intricacies and history, then no progress would have been made. Clearly, I can't stop saying enough about Lance. But as I stated when I started, my words truly cannot deliver the same kind of justice to Lance that he delivered to my family.
