About Grady

Learn Grady’s areas of practice.

"Excellence in defense" is more than just a motto, it is the guiding principle behind every case I handle. In more than two decades of practicing criminal law, I have handled every variety of criminal litigation, from minor misdemeanor offenses all the way to death-penalty-eligible murder cases.  I also have training and experience with drug treatment and mental health issues, through my extensive work with Accountability Courts, that few attorneys can match.

Specialization is an important part of the practice of law, which is why I devote my practice exclusively to the defense of criminal and DUI cases.  My experience enables me to find effective solutions to place my clients in the best possible position, regardless of the circumstances.  Whether your case calls for traditional courtroom litigation, an emphasis on treatment, or an "outside the box" approach, this firm can help.  When your freedom and your future are at stake, you need an attorney who knows the criminal justice system and is dedicated to putting that knowledge to work for you.

My law firm is dedicated to excellence in your defense.  That means I will be available when you need me, and will always promptly return all messages and phone calls.  It also means that your legal fees will be reasonable, and payment plans will be available when necessary.  Above all, it means that you will receive the best representation available, and legal advice provided with honesty and integrity.

Please call so we can discuss your situation.  The initial consultation - at the office, courthouse, or jail - is always free.

With decades of experience and service as a former prosecuting attorney, Attorney Grady Moore has established himself as the Marietta criminal defense lawyer clients can trust. As the founding attorney at Moore Legal, LLC, he has handled thousands of cases throughout the duration of his career, and he understands how to protect the rights of his clients. Cobb County Felony Case
We had been working with another attorney for about 5 or so months and my son's case languished. The DA had offered up a plea deal that was seemed excessive. The attorney felt my son should take a non negotiated plea when the evidence did not support that. In addition, they wrote a very poor brief for dismissal of evidence. After the attorney said, "just take the plea I don't have time for this..." we cut ties and signed with Grady. From the first conversation we realized the difference. In that first discovery call he listened intently, provided guidance and did not make any promise other than to do his best on the case. He presented a few facts on why he was the right attorney for my son, but not in a salesy way - just the facts. He understood that it was about outcome mitigation not promising that he would get off with no time served. Once hired, he kept in communication, provided guidance, was well spoken in court, wrote an outstanding brief and deftly negotiated the best deal possible for my son. During this whole process we felt that he really cared as to the outcome of the case for my son's sake. He took the time to visit my son, listen to his ideas, provide logical suggestions and co-work a strategy to mitigate what could have been a truly unjustified judgement. He made the best of a bad situation. If you are looking for an attorney he is the right guy to have fighting for you - especially in Cobb County as he has a thorough understanding of the judicial landscape for the county - judges, DA's, jurisdictions, jail etc. I highly recommend.

Recommendation for Grady Moore
Mr. Moore turned a potentially long prison stay into a much better arrangement. Mr. Moore is a professional, hard worker with a great positive attitude who seems to know all the right people in all of the right places. Above all else, he gets results. Great results. I highly recommend this attorney for your criminal justice needs.

The Best Defense Attorney in Cobb County
I was referred to Mr. Moore at one of the lowest and scariest points of my life. My son was arrested for a serious crime, and we had no where to turn. Mr. Moore gave my family "Hope" in a hopeless/helpless situation. Mr. Moore made sure he explained the legal process in a way we could understand. He stayed in constant contact with me to inform me of what he was doing in the best interest of my son. Mr. Moore is very experienced, highly intelligent, strategic and methodical. We never felt like "just another case" when we spoke to him. He's a man of great integrity and genuinely cares about his clients.
