Excellent Divorce attorney

Adam was very helpful in all aspects of the process. Seemed very knowledgeable and was able to answer any an all questions I had. He was accessible and returned calls/emails very promptly. Made an unpleasant situation as bearable as possible. Affordable as well.

A lawyer with skill and integrity ... highly recommend.

Adam Lilly’s firm was recommended by two experienced Cumming attorneys who felt he would be better suited to handle my unique case. I am very grateful for their advice. I had been searching for months with these two requirements in mind: 1) my lawyer needed to be highly efficient ... respectful of my... time, due to my financial limitations and 2) they needed to have mastery of their profession ... guiding me through the process of ending my 30-year marriage with as little stress as possible. Mr. Lilly met both of these stipulations. In my experience with lawyers, Mr. Lilly’s integrity and wise-beyond-his-years command of the legal process is a rare combination. His honesty and skill prevented errors that a less-than attorney could have taken advantage of, all the way to the bank. Mr. Lilly practices down to the very finest detail exactly what he believes. He is efficient and organized, putting to good use his technological expertise to streamline paperwork. He agreed to keep our communications via email and/or in person succinct and comprehensive. And because of it, I was able to maintain a reserve of funds, just in case it was needed. As a freelance writer, stay-at-home wife, and mom of two (now young adult) children, my prospects for reentering the workforce earning anywhere near enough to continue my standard of living were formidable. My ex’s very serious health claims were also a big concern. Mr. Lilly was not put off by any of these factors. When it became clear that my ex had no intention of negotiating in good faith, forcing us into a contested divorce and purposely dragging out mediation, Mr. Lilly recognized it for what it was and quickly ended the mediation, announcing that we would see them in court. The morning of the trial, Mr. Lilly was early, and prepared. I hadn’t needed to do anything but rest the night before. His ease and confidence soothed my anxiousness. When my ex's attorney entered into evidence Facebook images of the gentleman I had met a year ago who is still my partner to this day, implying that I was an adulteress, Mr. Lilly remained calm. He quietly assured me that if they wanted to open that door, we would gladly go there. Each time my ex and I took the stand, Mr. Lilly knew exactly what to ask and how. He seamlessly and confidently brought the truth to light. I was a loyal wife and mom who sacrificed a lot to raise a family, tend to our home, pets and children, home-educate when our son needed extra help, and support my husband's career. I had worked hard to try to restore our broken marriage, well beyond what most spouses would. I will never forget the immense relief and justice I felt when Mr. Lilly made his closing argument. His words were compelling and everyone was stunned, including me. When Judge Bagley made his ruling, he awarded several times what my ex had proposed, along with every item on my personal property list. Mr. Lilly’s argument had been so effective, that the judge added a very unusual stipulation ... my alimony would be irrevocable, even if I remarried. According to his staff, it was unprecedented. Would I recommend Mr. Lilly? Yes, indeed ... to my closest friend. The only advice I would give someone standing in my old shoes would be this: when you list your personal property, be absolutely sure you include everything you might want and/or need, right down to the pruning shears hanging in the garage. I ended up re-purchasing a piece of furniture I’d bought for $15 at auction. This time, it cost me $500.

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"I endorse this lawyer. Adam Lilly was my opposing counsel on a case several years ago. From an attorney perspective, he was the ideal opposing counsel. He promptly responded to all my communications, and responded to discovery fully and timely, which is a blessing in litigating a case. He had a client with some character issues who had done some things throughout the litigation that violated court orders. Mr. Lilly had obviously spent time telling his client what to expect, and to testify honestly, which greatly helped his client's outcome. He also had evidence against my client, which he used. It was a pleasure having him as opposing counsel, and I endorse him as a family law attorney."
