We discovered Adam Lilly while in court for another matter. While waiting our turn, Mr. Lilly stated... and argued his case. He was sharp. Articulate, to the point and well-prepared, he recited precedent and methodically worked his way through due process. We hired him to represent our family in what turned out to be a long, arduous custody battle for my husband’s daughter. We believed that if a father stood a chance in obtaining primary custody, Mr. Lilly would be the one to achieve it, and do so in a manner that would allow us to sleep at night. He ensured that we were apprised throughout the process; he explained our options; and he advised us, answering scores of our questions. He never lost sight of the fact that the well-being of an innocent child was at stake. All decisions were considered and made with her as the primary concern; not us. While the opposition was inarticulate, ill-mannered and highly emotional, both in and out of court, Mr. Lilly stayed the course free of emotion and won the case. He remained dignified and elegant, as we believe proceedings in court matters ought to be. We happily continue as his clients today with oversight of our personal affairs, and are grateful to have found someone so well-versed in and respectful of the law and the ethical way in which it should be practiced: With excellence. At first Mr. lilly seems nice and willing to work with you on payments. However, buyer beware! This is a horrible lawyer. I came to him for an emergency custody hearing. When the judge asked how long he needed to state my case he stated 15 min while opposing counsil stated 2 hrs. Really?? I bro...ught him a ton of evidence and none of it was used. Obvously I lost the temporary custody hearing. His legal knowledge is minimal at best. This lawyer simply doesnt care and lacks the passion to do the work required to win. Lazy, none responsive, a Liar, and he doesn't care. He just wants to get paid. Needless to say I got another lawyer for my final hearing. EVERYTHING MR. LILLY TOLD ME NOT TO DO MY NEW LAWYER TO ME TO MAKE SURE THAT I DO IT. As a father I was told I would not get custody of my children. If I had stayed with Mr. Lilly I would NOT have my children today. I now have primary custoday of my children because I didnt stick with Mr. Lilly. If you want a lawyer who has the balls to fight for you, he is NOT it. Mr. Lilly is easily pushed around by other lawyers. Please, if you are looking for a REAL lawyer, go with someone else.

We were in a jamb financially- and Adam worked with us- which was really nice. We liked him at first. He was very responsive. He seemed very surprised by all the evidence we had and we felt very optimistic about going to court. But- as the other review says, he didn't use but half of the evidence... we gave him. He was nervous and shaky and didn't even wear a suite to court. We lost the temporary hearing, and after that- he wouldn't return calls, wouldn't answer questions, he just wouldn't do anything. We had court dates and didn't even know it! We paid him his final bill, and hired a new attorney. Although we are still waiting for the judge's decision- our new attorney was amazing! Used ALL our evidence and presented the case so well that the judges words of "You will have to overcome a huge mountain for me to change physical custody" actually played out. The most frustrating part was the dismissing of the evidence we gave him, and him not helping to hold the other party in contempt of the temporary agreement. We had MAJOR contempt issues that he wouldn't even address. He actually accused us of writing the other review and told us that going forward only the parties involved in the suite should be communicating with the new lawyer. This is our family, and our family issue, and we do things as a family- which our new lawyer LOVED!! Be very careful if hiring Mr. Lilly.
