I am originally from Swainsboro Georgia. I attended college at the University of Georgia, where I obtained a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice.
Immediately after graduation, I began my career as a police officer with the Gwinnett County Police Department. I spent five years investigating felony and misdemeanor crimes throughout Gwinnett County.
I then attended law school at Thomas M. Cooley School of Law in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I graduated in 2013, with honors. I also participated in Moot Court competition, and received a book award.
Following law school, I began my criminal law career with the District Attorney's Office for the Middle Judicial Circuit of Georgia where I handled felony cases. I then accepted a position as Assistant Solicitor-General for Forsyth County.
As an Assistant Solicitor-General, I prosecuted DUI cases, domestic violence cases, and misdemeanor drug case. I served as the representative of the Solicitor's office on the County's misdemeanor Drug and Mental Health Accountability Courts.
I left the Solicitor-General's office to accept a position with the firm of Epps and Stidham.

He didn't even read the police report, and decided to plead out. The attorney you hire should defend you. He didnt do that. He took the easy road and put me in a position just to spend more money. I would never hire him again.

My son was arrested for DUI (3 charges) which violated his probation in another county. Mr. Rountree was able to negotiate a satisfactory plea in both counties keeping my son's sentence to a minimum and to run concurrently. We are satisfied with the outcome, and very pleased with the attention and ...
