Laura French

I consulted with Ms. French regarding my nonprofit nature school and organic farm. She was super easy to communicate with, totally got my vision and passion immediately, and had exactly the knowledge I needed to navigate some details I had been struggling with regarding nonprofit laws. Knowing that... she has my back as my venture grows makes it much less scary! She reassured me that I'm going in the right direction and it gives me confidence to forge ahead boldly. I highly recommend Laura French.

Ms. French reached out to me for the second time since our initial meeting. The first time, after my Great aunt called and complained to her. The second time after she discovered my review on avvo and wanted to know why I wrote it. While I do not apologize for my initial review because it IS how ...I felt after meeting with her I will say that she has sincerely apologized to me several times and went as far as to send me a letter that I received today on 3/6. She was very upset by my previous review of her firm but understands that the constructive criticism comes from a genuine hurt of our first initial meeting. Ms. French's follow ups with me have been appreciated. She asked to consider removing the review but I can't find a button for that so this this is a follow up review.

When my Mom wanted to update her estate planning a couple years ago, we went to Laura. My Mom was in her late 70's at the time and still pretty sharp. Laura put her, my sisters, my brother and myself all at ease. Explained what the issues were, what she thought needed to happen. It is a complicat...ed estate. Real Estate owned in multiple states, etc. Everyone left knowing we were in good hands. It was handled as promised/expected. Later I took a job as the Executive Director at a not for profit. I found out the paper work for establishing the group as a 501c(3) was never completed and filed with the IRS. (This was a 8 year old problem when I uncovered the issue.) My Board hired Laura to handle this matter for us. Not only did we get our IRS status, we got over $9,000 in fines/late fees reversed and returned from the IRS. She is now our counsel.
