Biography
Megan started her legal career as a Police Officer/Detective with the New Orleans Police Department where she eventually went on to train the New Orleans Police Department in domestic violence protocols. She was also named 2010’s Officer of the Year. Megan was also a part of the Atlanta Police Department where she was the first female Valedictorian of the Atlanta Police Department’s Police Academy. After spending time as a Domestic Violence Detective, Megan transitioned her career into family law where she knew her background would translate seamlessly with advocating for families in need. Megan has worked with the Atlanta Trial Lawyers Group, Emory University School of Law, the Georgia Attorney General’s Office, U.S. Attorney’s Office Northern District of Georgia and the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office.
