Cherie was referred to me by a very good friend, my ex married a con artist there were so many lies and accusations against me I thought I’d never see my son again , THANK GOD FOR CHERIE BARTON ... I remember the first conversation with Cherie, we were going through police reports , there were thing...s I was accused of that I never did ...... Cherie specifically asked me if I’d had done these things and that if I did she will not represent me........ referring to some of the reviews above ....... you shouldn’t lie she’s a attorneys she finds out all don’t lie you won’t get dropped mid case ......... as the truth unfolded in my case I ended up with winning custody of my son ...... very good lawyer and would respectfully refer her .... her front office help is sweet , Cherie is a good attorney and does get busy like everyone else, but never did I feel she didn’t have control . PS she’s a BEAST in the court room .

Don't recommend. She was supposed to be my divorce attorney in 2011, and released me saying I was "too passive", after paying her thousands to fight for me. I couldn't believe she did it. My divorce was nasty, and she washed her hands of it all and left me hanging midstream. Horrible experience. Save... yourself the money and be very cautious of this one.

Mrs. Baton and her assistant provided extremely professional legal support during a very stressful period for my family. She maintaned constant communation, regardless of the challenges; keeping us abreast of needs and possible scenarios. She consulted with us prior to court in order prepare us f...or expectations concerning our court date. With her legal expertise, our court ruling exceeded our expectations. I would definetly use her servives again, should we need a lawyer again for future.

I would not recommend her as a defense divorce attorney.. She was not proactive. I did not feel she fought for me. She allowed the Plaintiff to reign over all the decisions. It's as if she was distracted and not totally engaged in my well being. I felt there were meeting unneeded as she was unprepare...d, yet she charged $250.00 per hour.
