Cherie T. Barton

Cherie was recommended to us 5 years ago during our first custody case. We are always kept in the loop. She explains things and makes sure we understand exactly what is going on and what the possible outcomes are. I have NEVER felt that she was “in it for the money” as some of the reviews have sugges...ted. We have always been charged fairly and sometimes probably not enough. She knows her stuff and she is professional but fierce in the courtroom. Needing an attorney is never something we just want to do but we definitely could not have picked a better person to represent us. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of an attorney!

Cherie was constantly stressed out and distracted, didn't understand my particular divorce situation and did not keep me in the loop. She overcharged me to set up a POA and a will and did so little on my divorce that I ended up going with another lawyer. Though he was more expensive, I learned that y...ou get what you pay for. I will say that Cherie appears to be trustworthy but the poor service she and her office provide (or don't provide in this case) far outweighs any good she might do.
