I hired Indigo Family Law for divorce proceeding. No children. Marriage lasted then 5 years. Ryan initially told me that I would mediation taken care of by Christmas. He also told me that the divorce should be simple and quick. After I hired him, his demeanor changed. The firm did nothing to force t...he defendant to comply with any court orders. They told me to kick the can down the road and not worry about it. I had to threaten to call off all agreements and challenge all court orders before they finally took it seriously. I did all of the research and gathering information. I was routinely notified at the last minute of any information that was required. At the end, Ryan showed up to the hearing late and did not have all of the paperwork necessary for the court. Maybe he thought this would be an easy payday. Maybe he didn’t care (he once told me that he didn’t care if I wasn’t happy with his performance). If you want someone that will work hard, look elsewhere.

Please BEWARE of this man. This man is NOT to be trusted. I know many great attorneys. However, this man is what gives lawyers a bad name. Ryan would tell me multiple negative things about my situation including that my ex would marry rich and I would be stuck paying a high child support bill without seeing them. Instead of being encouraging. I didn’t feel like they were on my side at all. Also, he found out days before that my kids were moving to another state only to tell me days later hours before my final court hearing. (Which was cancelled) I know they will deny this, but it is true. I lost because I didn’t have as much money as the other party. That’s what it’s all about. Don’t be fooled into thinking these people care about your situation. If you’re a man looking for fair treatment or custody look elsewhere.

This attorney is the epitome of incompetence—he does nothing, charges for everything, and somehow manages to radiate apathy while taking your money. Communication? Nonexistent. Work ethic? Laughable. Results? Don’t expect any. Ryan makes... you feel like you’re paying top dollar for someone to actively not care about your case. He will drag his feet, dodge responsibilities, and then slap you with an invoice for doing absolutely nothing.
