Biography
Mr. Sutton is a repeat recipient of the AVVO Client's Choice Award based on exceptional client reviews from locals and visitors alike. He graduated from The Citadel in 1985 as a Distinguished Military Graduate. He then served five years as a U. S. Army Armor/Cavalry Officer, including three years with the 1st Armored Division in Germany. He earned two Army Commendation Medals and Airborne and Air Assault badges. He graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1993 and then worked for a local trial judge and with a local litigation firm before opening the Sutton Law Firm, PC, in Myrtle Beach in 1995.
He has earned an outstanding reputation by obtaining excellent results for clients charged with DUI/DUAC and criminal offenses (drug cases, domestic violence, assault, alcohol violations, breach of trust etc.), both in the courtroom and through negotiation. Replied last May 02, 2019Thank you very much! When I first met with you and heard the facts of your case I was determined that you would not be convicted as a result of this ill founded arrest. I do not believe that taking medication prescribed by your treating physician for a chronic illness makes you a drunk driver, especially in view of your excellent driving record. DUI medication cases are very complex and should only be handled by those who focus on DUI defense and have experience in these kinds of casdes. Good things come to those who are prepared to go to trial on their client's behalf. I am happy that this stressful situation is now behind you. All the best!

Attorney Bob Sutton is Great
