Lon Shull graduated from the University of South Carolina Law School in 1984 after receiving a BA in Music from USC. Since 1984 he has enjoyed a state wide practice in Personal Injury and Family Law. He started his career at the Charleston law firm of Rosen, Rosen and Hagood, being made a partner in 1989.
In 1991, Shull and another partner from the Rosen Firm, left to form Andrews and
Shull which existed until 2009 or so. They both share the dirt and brick and mortar at 755 Johnnie Dodds Boulevard in Mount Pleasant, SC and remain friends and friendly colleagues.
Shull Law Firm prides itself on responsible and REASONABLE representation in an area of the Law that can devolve into Hystrionics if not out and out guerilla warfare. While having experience and knowledge in guerilla techniques and well able to employ them, the first approach in a family law matter should be that which stands the greatest posiibility of doing NO harm to children and as little harm to the individual litigants as possible.
Shull Law Firm is trained, educated and experienced in all manner of Dispute Resolution including Litigation, Mediation, Abitration, Negotiation and Independant Neutral Evaluation. If a client requires agressive discovery and representation... or if a more restrained and considerate approach is desired, Shull Law Firm has expertise and experience to help a client through one of the most emotionally traumatic times of their life.
Lon Shull is most proud of his compassionate and zealous representation of his clients, be it as their advocate, GAL, Arbitrtator or Mediator. Second only to the above is Shull's appreciation and pride of being a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, an elite national group of Family Litigators which requires a National exam, a State exam and the approval of peers. AAML is dedicated to the knowledgeable, educated and responsible representation of spouses and children. He has learned much from the Fellowship.
Shull and his family have lived in the Charleston, SC area since 1984 and love the Lowcountry of South Carolina.
