Divorce & Custody Case
I was very impressed with Mr. LaMantia and his staff’s performance. From the beginning, Mr. LaMantia was honest with me and advised me as to what I could expect with regard to my case. I was advised right up front that if I ever had any questions or problems, that he is often in Court and unavailable...

RUN!!!
Doesn't return calls or emails, doesn't inform me of court dates or forward documents, and is no match for opposing counsel. But, there certainly is a hefty invoice for all this dodging and inertia!

Finally, a lawyer who listened
Finally, a lawyer who listened. I had a custody and visitation case and had a lawyer for over one year who would never respond to my inquiries. I hired Anthony and finally found an attorney who was interested in my issues and resolved the matter quickly. I wish I had found him first.
"I owe my success, and by extension my many happy clients owe their own success, to Tony LaMantia. I worked for Tony both before and after I was sworn in as an attorney in South Carolina, and it was because of what he taught me--both about the law and about the practice thereof--that I was able to open up my own successful practice. What many don't realize, when it comes to attorneys, is that you generally get out what you put in -- much like anything else. Sometimes, clients can be their own worst enemy and don't always listen to the advice of their attorney. It causes frustration, and those folks are apt to shift blame. One of the things I liked best about working for Tony is that we worked well together. When I was new, I was *really* aggressive. Tony, however, was more measured. He pulled me away from being aggressive, and I pulled him away from being too measured. We made each other better. I'm a better attorney because of Tony, and I'd like to think the same goes for him."
