Probate matter

I hired Ms. Fudge at the suggestion of another attorney. I paid a flat fee. The case dragged on with no resolution. Finally, after paying a fee to Ms. Fudge, she suggested I let her be relieved of the duties which I had already paid for and I ended up having to pay thousands to another attorney to fi...nish the case. I should have been repaid for the expenses paid out of my pocket to Ms. Fudge, but the judge only allowed slightly less than 1/3 of what I paid to be reimbursed to me stating that the court didn't feel she had earned what she was paid; therefore, I was screwed out of several thousands I paid to her. Not happy with service or results.

Carol: I am sorry that you are dissatisfied with the result of your family's litigated probate case. Second marriages and step-children, in addition to a poorly written will (which was not prepared by me) can often lead to animosity in court. However, I never asked to be relieved as your attorney. We filed a motion which you approved asking the court to relieve you of your fiduciary role in the estate. We won that motion after a hard-fought hearing and you cried while hugging me in court and thanking me profusely. If you felt the need to hire a new attorney to represent you in your new role with different interests and responsibilities, that was certainly your right--but that was not something you ever discussed with me. Unfortunately, my time spent on your case was so extensive that my flat fee did not come close to reasonable compensation for time spent. Nevertheless, I never asked you for more money and honored our agreement. I'm not sure what happened to turn your tears of joy and gratitude with respect to my services into anger and resentment. I haven't heard from you in several years. Nevertheless, I wish you and your family well moving forward In the future.

Professional and Efficient

This Atty is trustworthy. She actually suggested doing a few things on my own as to save on legal fees. Her option was to say nothing, do as requested, and really stick it to me. She didn't. As well, she took my case based on full knowledge of how much I was will to spend to try and achieve a resolve.../compromise Alyson Fudge is why our next President will be a woman. She is understanding, empathetic, and trustworthy
