Legal Warrior and Justice Seeker

Bill Burns is a legal warrior and justice seeker: he is an extraordinary attorney. He is a man of great integrity and intelligence, and advocates for his clients. His legal expertise and guidance are exceptional, and he gives nothing less than his absolute best. Hiring Bill as my legal counsel was on...e of the best decisions I've ever made. He worked hard on my case; was always prepared and was a proactive communicator. He kept me very well informed. I was more than pleased with the service he provided and if needed, I would hire him again as legal counsel. Bill is one of the best attorneys in the industry. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs legal counsel that is honest, smart, hard-working, (always) prepared and dedicated to providing the best service possible.

Defective Product

I hired Bill Burns after my father died in an accident caused by a defective hot water heater. Mr. Burns told me on the front end it would be a very difficult case. However he was amazing to work with and was able to prove the tank was defective and we won the case. I and my family will be eternally ...grateful for his hard work. He is the best around!

Represented by the BEST!

Integrity, commitment, perseverance, knowledge, diligence and trust are only a few words that best describe Bill as a dedicated attorney and human being. Bill has been representing me since 2009, after a chain reaction car accident caused the total loss of my first car. While I worked at St. Jude Chi...ldren's Research Hospital, he represented me and was able to get the insurance company to payoff the new car as well as had them compensate me for the back injuries that resulted from the accident, and which interfered with my work as a Scientist. Last year I moved and tried to buy a house for the first time. To my surprise, the hospital that had given me medical service in Memphis had reported a fault in my credit, as a consequence of their mistake in not charging the insurance that I had at the time. I immediately contacted Bill. He not only remembered my case, but he assured me that this was not our mistake, but the hospital's error. I did not have to fly to Memphis for anything. Bill provided evidence to the credit report agencies showing that the hospital had made a mistake, and since several banks had denied loans for me to purchase my first house due to the hospital's mistake, Bill was able the get the hospital to compensate for the damage. Not only was my credit report cleaned and currently excellent, but I had the blessing of acquiring the down payment of what I refer to as my current "miracle house". Words will never be enough for me to express my gratitude to William Burns and the firm that he represents. There was not a day, during this whole process, that he did not make me feel secure and confident that we would win this. For all these reasons, I highly recommend Bill and the Watson Burns firm. The least that Bill will do is represent his clients with honor. The rest, will speak for itself. Thank you Bill!!!

Bill is an excellent attorney who is relentless and does not back down. It was easy to communicate with him before, during and after the case. He is very thorough and I highly recommend Bill Burns and his firm.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
