Spartanburg woman testified Monday she was attacked by Lance while walking her dog at Milliken Park on Oct. 30. A beautiful, cloudless afternoon ended in a nightmare that continues to haunt her. She ... said Lance jumped out of bushes and grabbed her from the front in a bear hug that left her breathless. The victim said he choked her, dragged her in the woods and forced her to undress. She said he threatened to shoot her if she screamed and attempted to rape her, but was physically unable. Lance told her to drive him to Boiling Springs, but she feared if she got in the vehicle with him that she would be killed. She gave him the key to her vehicle and said he told her he would find and kill her if she called 911. After he left, she redressed, called 911 and ran toward other people in the park. On March 8, 2010, Williams wore a ski mask when he approached four women taking a break outside of their workplace, Smilemakers, 425 Sha Lane, according to testimony. Williams attempted to grab a purse ... from Anita Smith. When Smith resisted, Williams produced a hammer and swung it in her direction. He grabbed the purse, which contained assorted items valued at more than $350, and fled in a small dark-colored pick-up. About 45 minutes later, Williams went to Cherokee Springs Baptist Church, 2699 Chesnee Highway, and held up Randall Seay, a church worker. Seay told deputies Williams asked to speak to the preacher when he entered the sanctuary. Seay told Williams the preacher wasn't in and gave him a telephone number he could call. When Seay turned to continue his work, Williams grabbed Seay from behind and placed his hands around his neck. Williams took the victim's wallet and knocked him to the floor. Seay got up and followed Williams through the building. Williams made a wrong turn and ended up encountering Seay a second time. Williams punched Seay in the face and knocked him to the floor a second time before fleeing the property. Seay got up and followed Williams through the building. Williams made a wrong turn and ended up encountering Seay a second time. According to the solicitor's office, Seay provided a description of the getaway car that matched the earlier robbery. Deputies found Williams on Cannon's Campground Road and initiated a car chase that ended when Williams wrecked on Hammett Road in Cowpens. On the night of February 2, 2006, Mike Proctor and Tony Hunter were shot by the Defendant multiple times while riding in Proctor's SUV, which was stopped at a stop sign on Chester Street at Theodosia ...
