Saved life

My child was charged with something that could have been his life in prison. But Steve Denton worked so hard for 18 long hard months and got it to 10 years ( bitter sweet ) I am so so hurt but it is so much better than it could have been . But this man saved my child's life . I am so grateful the world could not even understand just grateful I truly am I will always say a prayer for this man to be able to help someone else in their darkest times . I always said spartanburg courthouse is just like middle school with their clicks and who knows who . But this man right here was sent to us in our darkest times . And I am forever grateful. May God bless this man many times over the limit.. Steve you are a good man thanknyou from the very bottom of my heart ❤.

Best lawyer we've ever had!!!

Steve Denton represented my daughter this week. She is already home and we are forever grateful and feel really lucky we picked the right one! He cared about her struggles and our family's needs. He showed empathy for our situation and truly worked hard to help her come home. He was worth every single penny. I was formerly a narcotics and vice squad officer in the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Department. I worked my way in to homicide investigations before I retired from law enforcement. When I was 43 I went to law school, ventured over to the other side of the courtroom, and I now represent defendants.

Criminal case

Best of the best

Stephen is as good as the come. I knew I could always count on him to answer his phone no matter the time day or night. Stephen always went out of his way to give me the best advice possible. During the whole process I not only felt as if I had a top attorney on my side but also a good friend that was always willing to go above and beyond the call of duty to guarantee my success. My career my reputation and my ability to provide for my family was all on the line and Stephen worked for the best outcome possible in my criminal case. Life Saver

Stephen is the best and i would highly recommend him to anyone! He has helped me 2 time's in the past year and kept me with my family through stressful time's. Wonderful and Available

I had a case at work and Mr Denton was recommended by several coworkers. Mr Denton had substantial prior knowledge with cases similar to mine and was absolutely wonderful. He’s a straightforward “tell you how it is” lawyer and will not steer you wrong in his advice. Mr Denton was also compassionate and took my worried calls well after 9pm and while on vacation. ABSOLUTE BEST

Steve has gone above and beyond for myself. I will give you one piece of advice, don't lie to him. I have used him 3 times and have not once been disappointed. Til this day, if I had not hired him I would be in jail. He literally will go out of his way and help you in whatever way possible, not only legally but as a person as well. He has saved my life, literally. And I could never thank him enough!

THE best DUI lawyer in the Upstate of SC

Steve and his associates went above and beyond the call of duty for me. I was facing possible jail time and got off with only losing my license for 3 months and $1200 in fines. They filed multiple motions and appeals and were willing to go to trial but didn't have to. They're expensive but well worth it.

Employment issue

He is a criminal attorney. I basically represented myself in an employment issue. I noticed issues he did not and he told me I would be billed against my retainer after spending less than two hours with him he recommended I settle. Then when I called for billing on my retainer he told me it was a flat fee. He should have referred me to an employment attorney in his practice but instead billed me for his time spent consulting his partner. No transparency no itemized charges despite what he sai about billling towards my retainer. Can’t sue lawyers as no one will take case. If you are a criminal he is on point but stay away for any other issues. My case was resolved to my satisfaction only because I have HR knowledge.
