Michael Todd Thigpen

Todd Thigpen was the court appointed guardian in my daughter's case. I thought as a guardian he would of been more involved in the case. He always appeared very annoyed, uninterested and distant during our encounters. He only interviewed the children with their parents for about 15 minutes. He... was not open to any interviews and discussions with people who knew most about the case. He communicated more with the other party and would base his decisions from their information without trying to reach the other party. He did not make a wise decision in placing the children; he allowed them to live with someone who had threaten to kill my daughter on 3 different witnessed occasions. We believe without a doubt there was bias on his part since the other party was from Spartanburg. He did not show up for all of the court hearings and he was a no show for the meditations. Today he stood in front of a judge and said he had actively been involved in the case which was not the truth. Shame on him.
