Nicholas and team worked tirelessly for me during my divorce, turning a frightening situation into a bearable moment. My ex, at first was willing to simply leave, then after consulting her attorney saw monetary compensation. Nick and his team worked hard for me dealing with her attorney, and at the... end of the day made it simple and fair. She ended up leaving as initially desired since she cheated. He even led me down a path to not be bitter but rather have a simple and effective and divorce uncontested. Yes I had to wait a year, but it was worth it. My ex and myself both got what we wanted with minimal issues on my end. Nick even helped with a tax issue I had due to the divorce and it turned out in my favor. He's amazing, responsive, helpful and honest, and will fight hard to help his clients. His reputation is top notch in the area and most other attorneys worry when he is representing you. Pricing is great, but most importantly you get amazing representation. My ex's attorney asked for more money from her to finalize the divorce.....Nick didn't do that as he is an honest attorney and fair. I don't want anyone to go through a divorce, but if you have to......hire Nick Mermiges, you won't regret it. He does what he says, works hard for his clients, and is honest. He puts in the extra effort to protect his clients. I personally couldn't have been happier with the outcome Nick provided.

Nick took on an extremely difficult case for me that lasted over 3 years. In the courtroom and in negotiations his actions were nothing less than brilliant. Nick is an incredibly driven attorney who focused on the end game versus being caught up in the emotional back and forth that is usually assoc...iated with family court. It is hard to describe in words how grateful and appreciative I am of having Nick Mermiges as my lawyer. I have never met a lawyer as passionate and dedicated to family law as Nick.
