also known as Bill LaLima
I am a seasoned attorney with proven oral advocacy and trial skills, extensive deposition and medical malpractice litigation experience; I have a passion for learning and helping people.
I grew up in Summerville, SC. My father was a police officer in Charleston, SC for over 30 years. I was the first in my family to get a college degree, so I know what it is like to live in a “regular” American household.
I graduated Cum Laude from USC where I majored in Theater and Speech and obtained a Cognate in Criminal Justice. I was active in USC Theater productions and was a nationally ranked member of the USC Debate Team. In 1992 I was the South Eastern Regional college debate champion. Oral arguments and public speaking are what I have trained to do.
One of the things I love most about the law is the opportunity to learn new things. I have learned physics for car accidents, metallurgical analysis for products liability cases, all manner of medical and surgical information for medical malpractice and personal injury cases. I love learning new things, and I love to help people. As a lawyer, I am blessed to be able to do both. I look forward to meeting you and helping you through your situation.
Best regards,
Bill LaLima

Bill is really easy to talk to. He listens to what I have to say and he helped me understand my case better. He doesn't have that "I'm better than you" attitude that most lawyers have. And he's really smart. He also did a really great job in court. He totally knows his stuff! Also his staff is...

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2006.
Interim Suspension issued in SC, 2006
updated on 08/02/2014Interim suspension means an attorney lost his or her license to practice during a disciplinary investigation. The suspension typically expires when the investigation is resolved.
“I suffered a serious medical problem in 2005 & 2006. When going inactive to focus on my treatment, the bar could not get in touch with me and placed me on "interim suspension". After responding to their investigation, the suspension was lifted. I was not disciplined. I have made a full recovery and am healthy and delighted to be practicing law full time again!”
