Transplanted from Michigan, I attended Western Michigan University where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Literature. Fortunately, I can include the University of Cambridge and Michigan State University to my educational experience as well. I then went on to receive my Juris Doctorate from Wake Forest School of Law.
A twisted sense of humor and passion for individualism, settling down in Western North Carolina was only natural for me. Having been licensed to practice law in North Carolina and Oregon by sitting each state's bar exam, I look forward to expanding my primary practice from North Carolina to sister southern states. Personal recreational passions are summed up by adoring my dogs and running everywhere I can get a plane ticket.
However, my main passion and drive is excelling as an attorney and providing excellent client representation.

A zillion times, yes!
I was so pleased with Marion's overall professionalism and knowledge of family law. She was able to answer all of my questions in a clear and intelligent manner, met all of my needs, and completed my court case with my ideal outcome. I would absolutely hire her again for any future custody-related is...
"I have opposed Attorney Parsons in Family Court matters and have found her to be someone who fights zealously on behalf of her client's legal issues. I highly recommend her for your legal needs in the areas of Family Law matters (Divorce, Child Custody, Juvenile cases) and in the area of Superior Civil and Criminal Court cases."
"Marion has shown herself to be an attorney with immense integrity and a distinct dedication to the welfare and interest of her clients. She has shown herself to be a strong advocate and a wise counselor on matters. I have previously referred business to her and will continue to do so in the future because of these qualities."
