Solid, smart, compassionate

Marion is a solid human, smart attorney, trustworthy and compassionate. Highly recommend her to represent someone who truly seeks fairness and needs someone who has their back. She is committed, well respected, and has a strong presence in the courtroom with a keen sense of detail and knows how to r...esearch, as well as work confidently and smoothly in the fly. Id recommend and hire her 10 times over.

Huge disappointment

Marion Parsons claimed that she could take on a complicated case involving divorce, child custody, and child support with an out of state order and it wouldn't be a problem. When the case started I was getting a substantial amount of child support, basically had full custody of the kids, and was stil...l married and able to use my spouse's insurance and benefits. Thanks to Marion's tactics and empty promises, I am making less in child support than the standard state calculation when the case started (last Summer I might add), I had to agree to 50/50 custody, which cut my support even more, and I am soon to be divorced despite her promises that she would throw legal strategies out there that the other side wouldn't know how to defend. She said she could delay the divorce if not stop it from happening in this state AND get him to pay the legal fees. She also said she would be able to prove that my ex-spouse was hiding income in order to increase my child support, but this turned out to be another empty promise. I had very high hopes when the case started and felt that Marion understood my predicament and goals and knew just what to do to shut down the opposing side's counsel but the outcome since working with her has been disappointing to say the least. Plus I am stuck paying her thousands of dollars in legal fees on top of it all. I would have been better off not using a lawyer and making my own deal with my ex.

Divorce attorney

I contacted Marion after talking to a couple other lawyers. I knew right away I was comfortable with her and wanted to proceed. The other two did not seem as in tune with my situation, and I was just another consultation fee. She kept me up to date with the proceedings and her advice was geared to...ward getting me the best, most reasonable outcome. I was happy with her court presence in front of the judge, and other attorney as well. Marion knows the judges, and knows how to navigate through the complete process that I had to under take.

Professional and diligent the top two traits to look for in an attorney. Marion examplify's them both.

Marion is in the only attorney in Asheville, I would trust to represent myself and my daughter. Marion was extremely efficient and knowledgable about how to handle my case. I would highly recomend her to anyone going through a divorce or custody court.
