Dana Andrew LeJune

I first used Dana Lejune as my attorney about eleven to twelve years ago. I was involved in a serious, temporarily crippling, auto mobile accident. I had hired another attorney to help recover what ever I could for medical bills and other damages. That layer had next to no problem claiming on my own ...under insured motorist provision of my auto mobile coverage (doing next to nothing and receiving 5000 dollars for it) but when it came to completing the job and collecting from the other driver's insurance, he failed, miserably. As I previously stated, my accident was one of great severity. My hospital bills were over 175,000 dollars (luckily I had good health insurance at the time that covered nearly all of the cost), I had several surgeries, was in a wheel chair for nearly 6 months, and could only walk with the aide of crunches or a cane for about a year and half. For that same amount of time the lawyer I had hired basically did nothing. I would call and he would tell me this or that, always putting me off or just flat out ignoring my attempts to contact him. Finally, about three years after my injury, he told me that there was not going to be any further compensation for me to claim. Considering all that I had gone through, at no fault of my own by the way, I just couldn't understand how that was possible. So, I took the case to Dana for a second opinion. I was glad I did. After reviewing my case, Dana came to learn and then relayed to me that the other lawyer missed the date he was supposed to file suit by and therefore my right to seek any additional monetary reward had been forfeited. In other words, the lawyer I had hired neglected me costing me tens of thousands of dollars and then lied to me about it. I was very upset to say the least, that is until Dana stepped in. He quickly got the other lawyer to own up to what he did and fully compensate me for the most I could have received under the other driver's insurance policy. After years of being put on the back burner, grievously ignored, and flat out lied to by another attorney, Dana came in and efficiently and effectively rectified the situation. I was more than pleased; I was impressed. Since that time I have often utilized Dana's expertise for other legal concerns. He has always been happy to help me out or at the very least point me in the right direction. I have also suggested others, including my wife, to consult with Dana and those who took him on as their legal representation were extremely satisfied with his performance and very thankful to me for the recommendation.
