Highly recommend !

Aside from an amazing attorney, Mr.McCrary is a true man of character. I hired Mr. McCrary to handle my divorce and custody matters. As a single mother of three girls , I have an extremely busy and hectic schedule. Mr.McCrary went out of his way to accommodate with this. He worked diligently to make sure things were taken care of. As soon as Mr.McCrary presented our case , along with the facts, to the judge...I was awarded full custody over my girls. I will forever be grateful for all he has done for me and my girls. I have and will continue to recommend him .

Excellent attorney, Wonderful person

Dustin has represented me on two separate occasions. One a speeding ticket, the other a more serious family situation. On both occasions, Dustin was excellent. Hi, I am Dustin McCrary, a divorce lawyer focusing on the legal needs of divorce and separation, child custody, child support, alimony and spousal support, property distribution and domestic violence. I’m a divorce lawyer in Statesville, Mooresville, Hickory and surrounding areas because I believe that divorce is tough and demands five-star-quality plus representation.

My clients would tell you that I have the inexplicable ability to put them at ease. I have a calming presence and genuinely care about every person I come in contact with. I'm quick-witted and think fast on my feet. I have an answer for anything and you will undoubtedly find yourself repeating one of my witty remarks.

I love spicy food, being outdoors on the golf course or fly-fishing in a stream in the mountains, and UNC athletics, not necessarily in that order. I’ve been to seven UNC versus Dook basketball games in Chapel Hill, the best being the come from behind win in 2005. When it comes time to beat my friends on the golf course, my fiercely competitive spirit comes out and I don’t lose.

I graduated from the University of North Carolina with a B.A. in Communications and earned my law degree with honors and M.B.A. from North Carolina Central University. While there, I was a member of the North Carolina Central Law Journal, graduated #1 in my M.B.A. class, and served as a teaching assistant for the business law classes at the School of Business.

In my spare time, I serve on the executive board of the Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce, March of Dimes, and Iredell County Republican Party. I am definitely a people person, and I enjoy serving my community through these organizations.

The BEST in the business!

Mr. McCrary represented me in a Domestic Violence/ Criminal matter. Excellent and Caring Attorney

Dustin McCreay cares about his clients. He is not only an amazing lawyer but a good-hearted man. In our desperate time of need he was there for us. He stayed at his office and meet with us after his office hours had closed. We meet with Dustin several times after hours, due to our work schedules. My daughter’s situation was very unfair to her and we had no experience with legal matters. Dustin took her and us her parents under his wing. I knew at Dustin’s first impression he was the man we needed for the job. His confidence, presents and the way he spoke with us, gave us reinsurance. Dustin not only spoke to my daughter about her custody situation but he spoke with me. With my daughter being his client and her confidentiality, Dustin still had time to speak to me privately. He insured me that he would do everything he could get my grandson back to his mother and us. We trusted Dustin and he didn’t let us down. Dustin’s presents in the court room was superior and demanding. He believes in what he’s fighting for and goes after. Dustin is not only an outstanding lawyer is a genuine great person. Alleviated my stress

I got a speeding ticket right around Thanksgiving, but finding Dustin by reading his other reviews here made me feel confident that he'd be able to handle it. I was able to relax and enjoy the holiday! When we connected the following Monday, he exceeded my expectations. He's so prompt, thoughtful, and personable answering all of my questions. He really took the stress out of the situation and I can not recommend him enough if you similarly find yourself ticketed. Go Tar Heels!

Confident & Knowledgeable

A professional from the start. Mr. McCrary is able to interpret information in a moments notice and respond back well to it. He has self confidence that is easily seen in the courtroom. You will get your best possible outcome with Dustin by your side

Dustin represented me through a very lengthy, very complex divorce, spanning almost 3 years. During this time Dustin had to battle 4 different law firms, each with their own strategies to sway the outcome in my ex’s favor. Dustin supported me through the custody battle, division of property, alimony and child support battles with great success. Each of these components came with their own set of challenges, which Dustin navigated with professionalism, grace and integrity. To make things more challenging for Dustin, my work schedule did not allow us to meet during normal business hours, forcing him to meet later in the evening and during weekends. Dustin even worked on my case during his honeymoon. I know this probably did not earn him points with his new bride, but the timing of his involvement was instrumental in a positive outcome for me. Dustin started out as my lawyer, but quickly grew into a good friend. I have, and will continue to strongly recommend Dustin for any family issues. He is honest, and forthcoming. Unquestionable Integrity and Consummate Professionalism

Words cannot convey the amount of appreciation and respect I have for Dustin professionally and personally. After two extremely bad prior experiences with divorce litigation I contacted Dustin's office to assist in finalizing some remaining open issues. His responsiveness, thoroughness, candor and compassion were night and day from what I had previously experienced. When I could not find my way...

When I first went to see Mr McCrary, I was so distraught and lost, when unexpectedly, I had been left and asked for a separation/divorce after a 34 year marriage. Dustin showed a true genuine concern not only for my legal welfare, but my overall health and well-being. When my emotions were all over the place and I often wanted to react out of hurt and resentment, he was my calm in the storm, tried his very best to help me stay focused on what was in my best interest, and to as what Dustin would say, "Stick to the Nuts n Bolts" and only responding to those aspects that would help me get the most favorable outcome. In my case, it was protecting my retirement which I will be looking at in just a couple of years. Dustin was able to help us negotiate and sign a separation agreement that allowed me to keep my retirement intact and solely mine when I do retire. This has truly been the most painful experience of my life. I have no doubt, that without Mr McCrary, I would not have survived this ordeal and maintained my self-worth, begin to recover, and start a new life with the best settlement that I could have achieved. He was my advocate, my adviser, and my trusted friend when I needed him most. I will forever be indebted for his services.

Expungement Process

Highly recommend

Dustin did a geat job handling my seperation and divorce. He put up with my many questions and insecurites but ended up getting me a settlement that 95% of divorce men would live for. I would highly recommend him. He was always there and responded to my questions promptly.

Awesome Person

I had a consultation with Dustin to discuss a dispute over child support I was encountering with my ex-wife. He was very professional and polite. From the beginning of our conversation it was evident that he wasn't just looking to turn a profit, but honestly cared about my issue and how he could help me. He offered advice that not only saved me money in the long, but erased excess stress and time I had to dedicate to the issue. Hands down best attorney I could have dreamed of

Years after going through a domestic violence situation and getting away, my son was taken by the abusers family under false pretenses. I met & spoke with MANY attorneys and couldn’t seem to find anyone who gave me the feeling that they were even so much as interested in my complex case. After meeting with Mr. McCrary, I knew without a doubt that he was the attorney God had in store for my case. He was kind, calm & passionate. I felt as though he cared about my case just as much as I did, which of course is a HUGE deal. He handled my trial in a way that I couldn’t have imagined going better, resulting in me gaining full custody of my son without him ever having to see the ones who took him again. Believe the positives

I hired Dustin to help me get custody of my daughter. I was worried that my daughter was going to be put in a really bad living situation with her mother where she would be constantly around drugs and exposed to lice. After my first meeting with Dustin, I knew he wouldn’t let that happen. In court, Dustin was prepared with a couple different strategies and was prepared for any scenario that we could have been hit with. At the moment I have temporary custody of my daughter with her mother only having supervised visitation. My daughter isn’t being thrust into a terrible living situation and I know with 100% certainty that she is safe. I would recommend Dustin to everyone.
