Biography
Cecil S. Harvell is an experienced attorney with an AV Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating in Trusts and Estates, General Practice, and Elder Law. Born and raised in Morehead City, North Carolina, he was admitted to the Georgia State Bar in 1983 and the North Carolina State Bar in 1987. In addition to his legal career, he has been involved in many community organizations. He has served as President of the Carteret County Bar Association, Carteret County Habitat for Humanity, and the Carteret County Chapter of the North Carolina Symphony. He has also held leadership positions with the North Carolina Symphony, the Beaufort Historical Association, and First Citizens Bank. His professional memberships include the American Bar Association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and the East Carolina Estate Planning Council. He is also an active member of First Presbyterian Church and the Morehead City Lookout Rotary. When he is not working or serving the community, he enjoys boating, sailing, traveling, and writing.

Excellent attorney
I met with Mr. Harvell about my father's estate. He was incredibly relatable and understanding. He fully explained the laws regarding my situation and did so with integrity and honesty. He was thorough and genuinely seemed to care about my concerns. I would recommend him to anyone.
