As your attorney I care about you as a person, not just as a client.  I strive to be accessible, responsive, and to answer all of your questions so that you feel confident and in control of your situation.

Before becoming an attorney I owned a large contracting and development firm for many years.  I have a great deal of experience in all phases of construction and real estate issues and devote a great deal of my practice to review of procedures and improving planning in order to prevent disputes before they arise, both for construction firms and other businesses.  I also have a heart for family law issues affecting women and children and I have incorporated helping to resolve these issues in my practice as well.

After navigating the effects of the Great Recession, I realized that my experience in business and construction from the inside would greatly enhance my abilities to practice law in that field.  I decided to switch careers and go to law school.  I love what I do and I get great satisfaction from using my knowledge and insight to help people through the crises that they experience.  Better yet, I am able to help people avoid such issues before they arise.  As I often tell people, I have been there and have already made these mistakes, so I know how to fix them or prevent them.

I believe that my role as an attorney is to serve my clients by gaining an understanding of and true interest in not only their legal issues, but also themselves as people.  Every person is valuable, and it is a privilege for me to be able to help make their lives better.  I have served on numerous boards and organizations and am currently the treasurer of Lifeline Pregnancy Center.  I am active in church activities and can often be found in my spare time chasing trout and redfish or spending the day on the beach with my wife, daughter, and Golden Retrieiver, Ringo.
